The staff were all friendly. The room was nice with a balcony that overlooked the fary terminal and dock where a lot of the sail boats/ scooners were and of coarse the ocean. The room looked and smelled clean. There was a TV on the desk with a rolling chair and a nice sitting chair in the corner. The room also has a dorm sized refrigerator and a kereg. Whatever the scent of the deoderizer or cleaning product used smells amazing in the main lobby. Hotel is close to shopping and the ocean, with wonderful views of the boats. Had a pretty good selection for the continental breakfast. Close to several options for food, and most of which were delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay here again.

The only complaint I would have is that the showers don't have handheld showers. .

The first morning, the breakfast options were very good. We got down there later on the second day and there wasn't much left. The location was great and there were a number of good eating places within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is directly across Main Street from the Rockland Ferry Terminal, which is very convenient if you were traveling to Vinalhaven, North Haven, or Matinicus.

It was a very nice facility. The only problem we had was that the weather was less than pleasant, though no fault of the hotel. There are several museums not far from the hotel, so we visited those.

The rooms are huge, beautifully maintained and the staff is really helpful. The breakfast is really nice and they keep it full, fresh and the whole area clean. I was surprised how comfortable the common spaces were inside and outside. The view of the harbor is pretty excellent.

I'm not sure anything could be different. You can see it was recently renovated, and some of the retrofits don't seem like they'll last long, (e.g. Laminate flooring that don't quite reach the edge, etc.) but they are working for now.

Room with balcony overlooking the harbor. Very adequate breakfast was included with the room. Close to downtown to walk through stores and restaurants. On our 6-day tour of Maine port towns, eating lobster everyday, we found the "best of the trip" just a short walk down the road from this hotel, it's name is "CLAWS". An outstanding bayside lobster/seafood restaurant which must be tried if you visit this hotel.

Could hear guest (children) in floor above us bouncing on the floors (our ceiling).

loved watching the ferry load and unload. We were Very close to restaurants. it was a very positive experience. loved the kuerig in the room, including that on the web site might be a good idea. I would have brought my own . I love Dark roast decaf coffee! The facility is a funny shape with unexpected angles. Kids were having fun playing hide and seek .. Adorable. staff was helpful and friendly and the Kiosk with goodies had a good variety for those of us who didnt want to venture into the cold wind for dinner.

The breakfast was ok. The decaf coffee was horrible . it tasted like tea. There was a long dark hair in the tub. we are both short white haired people so...

The updated room was spacious, nicely appointed, and very clean; it surely met my needs. The view was lovely, although it was not representative of the photo in the advertisement. The location was a perfect downtown spot that allowed access on foot to all Rockland had to offer, and easy access by car to neighboring locations and sites. A few of the staff members went above and beyond to enhance my experience during my stay, which was truly appreciated.

The parking lot needed work with more clearly delineated parking spots, and more parking in general. Also, while most of staff were professional, showed true hospitality, and were friendly and helpful, some staff members were not; one was downright rude. Some staff training in hospitality will benefit future travelers.

Front desk staff very helpful and quickly booked us in. My daughter was booked through her work as she was there for a class the next morning and I had booked my room so we could make a weekend out of it after her class. Without us even having to ask they put us in adjacent rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great room for the price and great location as well, within walking distance to restaurants in town.

Turkey bacon at included breakfast. Truly awful. Inedible. Everything else was fine.

We had a flat tire on the way there. They helped us get this fixed. They had helpful suggestions for restaurants in the area. Every staff member was genuine and friendly. The accommodation was extremely clean. The room was huge and had a beautiful view of the harbor. There was no road noise or noise from other guests. The location is walkable to all of the shops on Main Street and to the Farnesworth museum.

Everyone we had an interaction with was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable for our group. We were happily surprised to find out there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room for food if we didn't want to eat out. There was a little balcony and 2 chairs as well for us to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful view.

Slow Elevator but that wasn't a major issue since we mostly took the stairs. Besides that there was really nothing we did not like about our stay.

We stayed at Rockland Harbor Hotel for one night in July, on our way to Acadia NP. The hotel is located at the very center of the town facing the harbor (the sunrise was spectacular), in the walking distance to the local museums and shops. Our room was spacious, clean, very comfortable. The breakfast had good options of hot and cold items, very good coffee. The personnel was friendly and officient. We enjoyed our stay very much.
