This is a great place to have a relaxing time at the coast of Maine for some days. There are numerous nice places to visit in a maximum radius of 2 hours, including Acadia. But there are also other nice parks in this area. There is a wonderful pool and outdoor toys to.use in this motel. Our kids had a lot of fun in the pool. Also a grill and outdoor picnic places can be used. Our flat contained everything essential and was nicely decorated. The furniture is older but clean. For the price paid this was great. The breakfast provided in summer contains everything essential. An additional fridge with omelettes and similar is offered to heat it yourself. Very good to prevent food waste. Many thanks, we had a wonderful stay.

Just the pull out sofa was a little bit hard to sleep on, but still ok.

Breakfast options were great and there was always enough for everyone. Staff were extraordinarily helpful and attentive. Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious and kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of simple meals. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Pool is very nice.

We were in the 2 bedroom suite. There was no comfortable chairs or sofa for reading or watching tv. The futon in the living room was not comfortable and the only other options were hard dining room chairs. Stairs to the room were steep and hard to manage with a heavy suitcase.

Easy to find, right near the attractions and the pool was spotless and warm.

Our first night was in Room 14. To be clear, we asked to add an additional night after I got out of the hospital, so they to,d us we would have to change rooms the next morning. Room 14 has a warning on the front door “Beware of steps”. It was pitch black, the sign should have said “beware of steep step down “, but it didn’t. The hallway between the duplex rooms was pitch black and I nearly wrecked my back on that step. The same goes with trying to get into the bathroom, as you have a 12” high step getting into to it. Light switches were in strange places.

The hotel staff member who checked us in was cheerful and helpful. The room was comfortably cool on a very hot stretch of days in Maine. The truffles left in our room were a nice treat; thank you! We stayed in several different places during our time vacationing in the area and later in Boston, and the bed and pillows here were the most comfortable we enjoyed.

I absolutely loved this little motel! The aesthetics,white picket fence with beautiful flowers growing around the grounds. The rooms were good size and very clean. They had a pool but I did not check that out. They have a fire pit in the back yard with chairs to sit and enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have an ocean view but that did not depreciate the charm of the motel. The breakfast was frozen pancakes, waffles, and sausage patties that you had to microwave yourself as well as boiled eggs you had to peel yourself. They did have cereal and yogurt as well.

There was no breakfast but the location is great and easy to boogie over to great nearby restaurants. The cleaning gals were exceptional, especially Carrie. They went above and beyond and seem to genuinely care about making our stay great!

Can't think of a thing, it was such a great room and so super clean. Loved it.

They didn't have my paperwork and key ready through booking.com There were other peoples paperwork and key attached to the doot.I had to wait for the office to open at 4 p.m. on July 4 3025 The pool is cold. The price was high 250 a night with insurance. My room key didn't work once , so I had to go to.the office.

I love The Claddagh! This is my third visit and it's Always so relaxing, clean and safe. The beds are super comfy and the folks in the office are so kind and considerate.

I guess the only thing might be that I found out the smallish TV is less than ideal for my old eyes. But not important in the grand scheme of things. Otherwise my only complaint is that I can't just live there, lol.

I grew up near this motel and never really gave it a thought, i moved out of state and when looking for a place to stay for a couple nights when i came back to visit, this place came up and we decided to give it a try. We stayed in the upstairs queen suite. It was super cute. 2 bedrooms with a total of 3 queen beds, a small kitchen and a fabulous sun room you could open up and let the ocean breeze in. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't meet Sherrie, but Rich was very nice, couldn't ask for better host, When/if we make it back to Rockland next year we will definitely be staying again.

The only thing I would change is the upstairs entry door. I would have a curtain on it.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and were given a room upgrade because another guest extended their stay. Room 102 has 2 queen beds and is a double room connected by a large, nicely updated bathroom. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The bed was comfortable.
