We have been staying at Glen cove for about a week now and had to change rooms do to our own doing for being unprepared and management didn't even skip a beat putting us in a new room. The first room witch was number 10 was awesome. Nice view from our Balcony. Space nice amazing bed beautiful sun light do to great windows. To then be place in if possible a even better room. Balcony two times bigger then the last. Lots of grass area to walk around on. Even more sun is coming in from the amount of windows available. The bathroom is bigger. The bed is just as comfortable but the plus is they gave us a body pillow for this one for witch my wife truly enjoys. Management at Glen cove has yet to stop shocking us with there amazing treatment towards myself and family.

Cute motel in a nice location. Loved the breakfast porch! Motel was very reasonably priced. It is in between town centers but allowed us to easily visit Camden, Rockport, and Rockland by car. There are nice restaurants not too far away. There was a nice walking trail from the property over around the hospital next door.

Our room was a little small but met our needs. My brother's room was larger but was a deluxe one. Wished we'd had a view of the actual cove since it's so close, but the trees have grown enough there to block it.

Breakfast was continental, good variety however some hard boiled eggs (protein) would be appreciated. Coffee great. Had 24hr access to microwave which was appreciated as there were none in the rooms (no big deal). Beds comfortable. Hostess Sharise very friendly and helpful. Laundry services inexpensive and worked well. Location was great at we were sailing on the Schooner Heritage out of Rockport. Stayed here both before and after the sail.

Showers were a bit small for a larger man :[.

The property was well located and attractive. Eating on the porch or the patio below was very nice. Each unit had their own front porch which was also nice. These types of motels are a challenge to keep the outside looking good as they can deteriorate quickly in salty air. Having said that, the outside of some units looked better than others and more plantings/flower pits would help. The pool area was lovely but you can tell the decking area needs to be redone. The inside of our unit was great and we could tell it had recently been refurbished. Getting rid of the carpet and upgrading to laminate wood floors would also help.

Some outdoor areas could use some TLC. See above suggestions.

We are very unhappy with this inn as we came down with Covid after our first night there. We were told by the inn that we would be reimbursed the nights that were unused if we left. This is why we decided to leave. We ultimately had a lot of back and forth with the inn staff and booking.com staff in the days and weeks after our very short stay and we were not reimbursed as promised. We ultimately left two nights earlier than expected and paid the whole time despite what the inn said they would do. We’re very disappointed, will not stay here again and have told others traveling to Maine to do the same.

The location is very convenient, rooms are spacious and very clean and very comfortable! Soaps and shampoos in the bathroom are excellent quality. Nice little breakfast in the morning to start our day! Excellent parking directly in front of our room was nice. Nice views, we had a patio with chairs both in the front and back. Quiet set back off the road, no traffic noise. Will definitely stay here again!

There is nothing worth mentioning of dislikes. We had a wonderful 2 night stay!

Nice, rustic small-style cabin hotel with a swimming pool. I liked the infrastructure, the pool, the ease of getting pool towels and the fact that it included breakfast. The WiFi was also excellent.

It didn’t feel like there was staff on hand to answer questions or guide us, since we had never visited the area. On the first day of breakfast there was no one around to replenish cutlery and there were no spoons to be had, as an example. Also we would have liked our room cleaned but no one came to clean it and no one asked if we wanted it cleaned. I feel like the hotel could use a bit more service to give it a higher rating.

I love Glen cove. They have done everything and anything to make my wife and myself happy and comfortable. They go above and be on to help us stay comfortable in these hard times. Employees every friendly and very helpful. Owners are just as happy and friendly as Employees. Glen cove will forever get 10 stars from me

There's nothing that I don't like. Except maybe when our stay has come to it's end and we have to leave. It will be bitter sweet.

Good selections of muffins at breakfast. Orange juice& coffee were very good. Comfortable beds, good tv’s, plenty of hot water, all mechanicals in perfect working condition. Pretty location.

Bed was never made up daily. Ran out of yogurt & eggs one day. Only one kind of fruit offered all week. The drapes in room 13 are showing their age & why is there a chair with a frayed seat sitting outside near the entryway? I feel there may be a little updating of the property needed.

Staff was so helpful and friendly. Location was great. Serene and beautiful views although no water views. The 3 bed queen suite was perfect for our needs.

Breakfast was not as described, we had muffins or bagels and coffee so ended up with an extra expense of buying breakfast elsewhere most mornings. Half of the property lost power one morning for several hours. We had to take our 3 kids up to another unoccupied room to get ourselves ready for the day. It was a big inconvenience that was not really acknowledged.
