I absolutely loved this little motel! The aesthetics,white picket fence with beautiful flowers growing around the grounds. The rooms were good size and very clean. They had a pool but I did not check that out. They have a fire pit in the back yard with chairs to sit and enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have an ocean view but that did not depreciate the charm of the motel. The breakfast was frozen pancakes, waffles, and sausage patties that you had to microwave yourself as well as boiled eggs you had to peel yourself. They did have cereal and yogurt as well.

I grew up near this motel and never really gave it a thought, i moved out of state and when looking for a place to stay for a couple nights when i came back to visit, this place came up and we decided to give it a try. We stayed in the upstairs queen suite. It was super cute. 2 bedrooms with a total of 3 queen beds, a small kitchen and a fabulous sun room you could open up and let the ocean breeze in. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't meet Sherrie, but Rich was very nice, couldn't ask for better host, When/if we make it back to Rockland next year we will definitely be staying again.

The only thing I would change is the upstairs entry door. I would have a curtain on it.

Breakfast was excellant! Almost every thing was there. Cold items were kept in the refrigerator but with easy access. Small sir down eating space but it worked as long as some didn't mind standing. Still easy access for food.

I wish there was water in a pitcher at breakfast. I am not a coffee or tea drinker. So I had to drink milk & (delicious) chocolate milk more than I really wanted because there was not even a pitcher of tap water. I asked. I went back to my water bottle in my room for water. I lodged in the older building. It could have been updated but it was clean and I guess it helped to keep the prices down.

Breakfast was fine. Some interesting features like direct access to the refrigerator. Main complaint would be the small operating space but it worked well despite that. In the room we especially liked that the refrigerator included a freezer area which we find is not included in many other motels we have stayed in.

A tub mat might be a good addition. One of us felt it was needed, the other did not. The bath towels, while absorbent, were small.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and were given a room upgrade because another guest extended their stay. Room 102 has 2 queen beds and is a double room connected by a large, nicely updated bathroom. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The bed was comfortable.

Very comfortable stay. Peaceful setting with a lush green yard to enjoy with a swing and chairs for sitting outside. This isn't a luxury room but a homey, clean cottage style motel. We were able to actually get some rest. It's an older roadside motel but so handy. Just back your vehicle up to the door and load and unload. It's nice to motels again. The room was spotless.

Minor but the step up to the door in room 105 was a bit too high.

This is my 2nd stay at the Claddagh and I loved it even more. The beach themed room I had was pretty, clean, safe, quiet (Dec.) and relaxing- everything I was hoping for. The bed was super comfy, I like how the window coverings provide privacy, and the "make-up" washcloths are brilliant! Thank you for another wonderful stay Claddagh Motel!

Cannot think of a thing!

It’s look family own from the office and sign,but the rest looks professional.The room and guests area are thoughtfully design. Very clean, very cute little place. Breakfasts was included and was surprisingly great. Choices of fresh fruits,cereals,milk,juice,pasty& bread. I love their danish. They were soft, tasty and not overwhelming sweet. I am a picky eater, but I ate 3…that’s how good they are.

They have electronic key pad, but inside the room does not have any physical lock that make solo travelers feel deep sleeping. If they add some chains door will be great.

The facility has several properties. I stayed in a single room in the motel which is older but well updated. My high rating is principally for the value factor. I needed to visit an old friend in assisted living and got a better than decent place to stay for under $100/night in May. If you want fully modern hotel no this is not it - that is double the cost or more. Positives - bathroom fixtures replaced and inserts, not entirely redone. The bed was very firm and comfortable and I am an old guy with a bad back so +++. Heating /AC is modular update and worked in al settings in the variable May weather. Luxury no - good comfort and value plus the décor was not cookie cutter - funky in a good way.

As it was May I did not check out the pool so I can't speak to that on facilities. The flat screen TV is smallish.

Our Room was totally clean. It was updated. The bed was very comfortable, we could have used one more blanket. The water here is nice and soft and is even drinkable! The hot water for bathing is good and hot. The Continental breakfast is just that, it was all fresh and pleasant. They had bagels and English muffins, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit along with yogurt. In the refrigerator was fresh, strawberries, and blueberries. If you want a hot breakfast at a good price, just go down the street to The Offshore Restaurant. We ate our breakfast under an umbrella outside on one of the tables. Richard And the three Sherries Were incredibly friendly and fun to chat with!

The Fan in the bathroom is a little noisy.
