Center of historic Cumberland. Walkable area. Very large guest property. Parking in rear of property. Exterior common as well as en suite bathrooms throughout. Room and bed were comfortable. We arrived later in evening and used the convenient door lock system. We gratefully enjoyed coffee from the common area. Lovely property that welcomes cyclists. Seems there are a number of bike routes and trails throughout the area. The downtown pedestrian mall was enjoyable for a coffee shop breakfast and stroll.
There was nothing distasteful in regards to the accommodations. I am thankful our room was assigned to the first floor as opposed to having to climb one or possibly two flights. The windows and wood work in room weren't clean. A small issue. It was dark when we arrived and we missed the signage at the front.

Location was great for walking. Basecamp Coffee (shop) just a few doors away. Lots of history close by! We took a great tour of Emmanuel Episcopal Church (a five minute walk - but need to schedule ahead). Other museums (Washington’s headquarters/cabin from Fort Cumberland and Allegany Museum very good!) and downtown Cumberland easy walks away.
Our bed was comfy but needed rubber coasters under the bed frame wheels to keep it from rolling across the hardwood floor! Difficult to sit in bed and watch TV. (Room 12)

Was disappointed with Cumberland on a whole, but the Inn was comfortable. Good outside shed to accommodate all the bikes.
Apparantley, found out from other guests that when you book you receive an email advising the code to the door entry system plus advising what room number you are in as there is no reception. Wasted an hour finding this out as we didn't receive notification from the hotel and had to ring them which cost me as live outside the USA.

Very quiet and comfortable. No hassles checking or out. Beautiful old building.
It isn’t the property’s fault but be careful when booking through a third party because it will say private bath but not all rooms have a private bath. I called ahead and made sure we did.

The price and the ambiance of the place.
The absence of staff, I never met any. This absence makes access to the facility very difficult if you don't have a working cell phone to call the owner, likewise check in is by phone, if no working phone, one is in great difficulty

We really loved the old feel of the property and the bed was very comfortable.
That the bathrooms aren’t in the room. I mean I guess at home they sometimes aren’t either but it’s just a little weird having to leave your bedroom half asleep to use the restroom.

Perfect location for us. The Inn was really comfortable, easy check in ... communication w/Inn keeper was great.. had a safe location for us to store our bikes. Great recommendations for dinner and breakfast. We would easily plan to stay there again if we go back to Cumberland!

Staff was very accommodating despite my need for a later check in; they communicated the code necessary to get in and left the key in the door for me.
A little road noise due to the location of my room. Nothing horrible. The location is a bit awkward, but that's just Cumberland, I guess.

Two comfortable beds in separate rooms. The style of the property was unique and the lounge was sweet with sofas, coffee, tea, and games. We also appreciated the price. Very reasonable.
The tv seemed difficult to use. We never figured it out. There were no tissues in the room. Bathroomdown the hall.

I went with a group of friends to do a train ride and we booked 2 rooms. The location was convenient. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The old building had character, yet the rooms felt modern enough and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend!
Our room didn't have a bathroom, but it was nearby, and even though it was in the hallway, there was still a bathroom designated for our room. So was not an issue at all.
