Great location. Walking distance to all the must see locations. Attached to the property is a new restaurant/bar with great food, service and events. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. Rooms and property we're very clean. The heated pool is amazing. Parking is $27 per day and not included with hotel booking cost. Buffet style breakfast offering waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, muffins and hot items like eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes. They offer a variety of juices and milk. The area is kept very clean. They also offer keyless entry.. Use of phone key to entry elevators and room, making it very safe and sliding only guests to be able to use elevator. Will definitely recommend.

Everything was great about the hotel. The location was ideal. You can walk everywhere but we didn’t because it was so cold out. Staff that worked the breakfast was exceptional. Her name was Jessica. She was really friendly and great with my son and overall very friendly.

They probably did not really have any facilities for the dog, even though it was a pet friendly hotel. We expected like a patch of grass outside for the dogs to go to the bathroom, but we had to walk several blocks to find grass. We expected a little more from a pet friendly hotel. Also, some front desk staff were not the friendliest. You would ask them a question and they would give you a one-word answer just overall not the friendliest people, but we did meet some that were so I guess you take what you can get.

Breakfast was good. Parking attendant was very helpful and friendly.

I notice in my room #521 that the drywall in the bathroom was water damaged. It appears that someone tried to fix it by caulking the shower surround. When I took a shower, i noticed that the shower head directed the water against the opposite wall where the shower controls were and soaked my arm and sprayed that wall. The shower head could not be adjusted so I believe that the water damage is not from a leak, but from water hitting that wall anytime someone turns the shower on. The fix, would be installing a shower head that can be adjusted.

The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped for both work and relaxation. Though it was interior-facing without a view, I didn’t mind as I was here to explore (and work a bit in between). I appreciated the ample amenities, including a microwave, fridge, and a well-lit desk area, plus USB ports and outlets everywhere for convenience. In-room entertainment was a nice touch; I enjoyed watching classic horror movies (inspired by my visit to Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery which I'd just visited). Breakfast was included and had a good selection, with options like hot food, cereals, pastries, and both hot and cold drinks - items on offer changed daily. The hotel lobby is also a cozy space, complete with free coffee and tea available all day, lovely Salem-inspired decor, and a fireplace to make it feel extra welcoming. The staff were friendly and seemed to also have a fun time working together which added to the atmosphere!

The breakfast setup could be improved by moving away from disposable plastic cutlery and paper plates, which detracts from the otherwise good variety. Soundproofing was another issue; the walls are thin enough that I could hear the family next door as well as a noisy couple late at night causing a drunken disturbance, not ideal when you've a 6am start for work like I did.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and tasted great. Use of elevators required key card which brings extra security in a downtown area. Beds and pillows super comfy. Can't say enough about how every single staff member was polite, helpful and friendly. They truly treat you well.

The hotel has little control over this but we parked our car for the duration of our trip and walked. It's location is perfect to walk to all of Salems attractions. Biggest and in fact scariest issue was rampant homelessness in the direct vicinity of hotel. Not much they can and do they what they can...main door requires key card after a certain hour and you can't take the elevator to the room floors without key card.

We didn't have the breakfast, but it did look adequate. Once we worked with the front desk - the housekeeping issue was resolved. The garage was "Valet Parking" which meant someone let us in and told us where to park. It was fine.

Housekeeping : The 1st day I found the housekeeper & asked that she just replace the items I needed, as it was already 5 PM. She did so. The 2nd day I found her at 11 AM & asked that she clean the room while we were out. We returned at 2 and left again at 4. She knocked on the door at 5 and said she had time. We declined by that point. I was collecting & disposing of our trash and got towels & toiletries from the carts in the hall as the housekeeper was not to be found. On the 3rd day we spoke to the desk and they arranged for immediate service. The front desk was great and the room was adequately cleaned.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, lots of selections to choose from. The hours were great. The location was very easy to get to and the parking garage was also clean and easy to get In and out of and I was driving a full size pick up truck. The fresh linens and fresh bed was fantastic to come back too All in all it was a great hotel!!

The charging ports for the phones didn’t all work and we had a few things that needed charging so that was inconvenient .. the shower door kept sliding open while showering, we had to put a towel in between the two doors to keep it shut and that didn’t work very well actually. But I think I would call those minor issues that were slightly aggravating and a little inconvenient.

I loved this hotel and will definitely be back again. The location was brilliant, I walked everywhere for my entire trip! The breakfast was simple but exactly what you would want and need every day. There was plenty to eat and they were so kind every morning before they closed, encouraging us to take what we needed before they closed! The rooms were enormous, lovely big TV. Really friendly staff. It was absolutely great and I felt very lucky to have found it! Also you could help yourself to complimentary hot drinks by the front desk when you came in and out every day. Small touches like that just made a huge difference to how homely it was. Also, half way through I decided to extend my trip, and they allowed me to keep the same room to make the extension as convenient as possible.

The only thing I would consider when planning out the day is timing of room cleaning. One thing I did notice is that sometimes I'd go out all day and then when I got home by early evening (usually around 6pm) they wouldn't have cleaned my room yet. By that point I wanted to get into bed and watch tv myself so I didn't want to be interrupted. The team cleaning the room were lovely and kind, always very friendly saying hello etc, and did a beautiful job, but timing wise it just seemed to happen a bit late in the day to be able to have it as often as I'd have liked.

Location is excellent! Right downtown near all the action and many attractions.

The sliding bathroom door that doubled as a closet door. I see where they’re going with efficiency but it sacrifices privacy of the bathroom big time. Like, might as well ditch the door lol. Also, the surprise parking fee. Again, I understand parking is a premium in the city but dropping it on you when you already booked and it being 10% of the room cost tacked on… c’mon.

The staff were super friendly!! The location was great, loved the shower & the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but decent. Lots of restaurants & shops within walking distance. Recommend going to Brodies when you’re in town!

Ice machine was broken on our floor. Not a huge issue. We used the one on the floor below. Elevator was super temperamental. Had to swipe card and push the floor button multiple times for it to engage sometimes. Key card didn’t work to let us in after hours. Staff responded immediately when using the call alert button. Parking was $25 which I found pricey but gladly paid to keep car on site.
