The room was large ,clean, lovely. Shower was delightful,great water pressure. Shower products were very nice. Like that they are refillable. Environmentally conscious. Front desk staff warm welcoming and very helpful. Convenient to all of downtown Salem and waterfront activities. Able to rest

Could benefit from a fan in the bathroom. Guest room Door to hallway even when locked had open spots , where you could see through to the hallway. The Grounds of the hotel would be more attractive with , Trees or bushes. Maybe it was the construction nearby A path to pickering whatf with plantars and or flowers.

The location was perfect, in walking distance of everything. The staff were great and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, great color choices. The designs of the room were very nice, including all the decor.

The room did not have a mini fridge. Things were left behind from other guests (wine glasses and a hair straightner). Which didn't bother us because we didn't find those items until packing up when checking all the drawers. We found a used ear plug on the floor under a chair when we first arrived. But other than these minor things, everything was great!

The location as great! Hotel was recently remodeled. Free parking. Lobby was inviting and cold water available. Room was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Close to restaurants.

Staff were rude and not friendly. They told us the restaurant was open at 10:05pm for food or could order room service. That was not accurate. You can’t get food after 10, so make sure you plan ahead. No breakfast available, but even coffee in the lobby. Parking is free & available however can be difficult to get. In addition we were right by the elevator and it was very noisy. We could hear everything, so bring ear plugs!

Our original booking got messed up. So when we got there we had a smaller room than we had paid for. We informed the staff and showed them our reservation. They were amazing at honoring what we had paid for and actually upgraded our room to make this day better. The staff were exceptional. The cleaners did an amazing job. I have only good things to say about this hotel. The location is perfect to see attractions. It's in a good location to go get down to the water. It's probably more expensive than most hotels but if you have the money definitely worth the stay.

If I had one complaint It would probably be the breakfast. And my complaints in regard to that are minimal.

Housekeeping was attentive & very responsive!

Originally booked a double queen room & upon check-in, I was told that none were available. I was upgraded to a king junior suite with a sleeper sofa. My 60 yr old guest had to sleep on the couch, not the actual pullout, due to the fact that the sofa mattress was horrible. THIN,THIN mattress! When my guest went to lay on the mattress, all she felt were the coils. Horrible! Thankfully, the housekeeping manager, Erica came to see for herself the situation & agreed it would be comfortable at all. She was so professional! I have stayed here prior & have had a wonderful pleasant stay while visiting Salem.

The queen room (with 2 queen beds) was comfortably furnished, and a good size for my partner, toddler and I. We were able to also easily fit a pack-and-play crib into the space that we had brought for our toddler. The staff were really friendly and made great recommendations for restaurants nearby (with careful considerations for toddler melt-downs). The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the waterfront. Our toddler loved the heated pool as it was early spring. Parking is included in the stay.

The hotel was very well kept. It was neat and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful and always looked busy. Every morning the front desk area was being mopped. Walking by an empty room I observed housekeeping staff wiping things down. We were also asked by housekeeping if we needed anything. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I do wish we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room, though.

Having a microwave and refrigerator. I was very surprised that the room did not contain those items. So, any food we had left over we had to dispose of which, of course, can be costly.

Centrally located. Easy walking distance to attractions and touring the city. Room was comfortable and inviting and tastefully decorated. Mattress was comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the patio.

Disappointed that the superior queen room did not have a mini refrig or microwave. For the price of the room, I would think they would be standard items. The room did not have an alarm clock as stated on the website. There was no concierge book on the desk with the hotel info, menu for the pub or any info about the attractions in the area. Having never been to Salem before, it would have been very helpful.

My sisters and I came here for an event in May, and this was our first time in Salem. I chose this hotel on a whim, and boy, did we all LOVE it. We said that this will be our go-to hotel every time that we return here. Sure, hotels like Salem Inn and Hawthorne Hotel are iconic and have their histories for Salem-history fanatics; but Salem Waterfront is not to be overlooked. It's location is beyond convenient with almost every site, monument, museum, shop, etc all within walking distance. We didn't need a car ride even once. The staff is also friendly and the rooms a wonderful size. It didn't feel congested. Also, the Regatta Pub located on he first floor has the best New England Clam Chowder I have ever tried. Highly recommend this hotel!

I don't really have any negatives to say about this spot!

It was a convenient location within walking distance to many attractions. We were attending a wedding which was held in nearby Beverly. The room was spacious with a asascomfortable bed. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

As the room was handicap accessible the shower/ tub should have had a non slip mat. We were awakened very early one morning by trash pickup in the adjacent alley at the commercial bldg next door. It only happened once but was a rude awakening. Also the hotel was hosting several weddings during our stay so the dining facilities were really not accessible and the parking lot was full with wedding guests however the hotel did provide a free pass to a nearby parking lot within a 1/2 block walking distance .
