The cost was reasonable. The room was recently remodeled. Very nice and was clean. Love the wood. The beds were comfortable. We liked that the hotel was close to the water. It was too cold to use the swimming pool.

The room was recently remodeled; but apparently did not get a final inspection. We called about the tv not being plugged in to anything only to discover there was no box to plug it in to. A new tv was brought up and plugged in. Thank you. We did not call but did make the staff aware the next morning: No bath tub curtain. The hand rail in the tub was present but not set. It fell out while I was taking a shower. We turned the nozzle to the back wall so as to not get water on the floor. We had to move the bed over towards the wall due to the length of the pull out couch bed. :) The carpet on the balcony needs replaced. We chose not to go out there.

Affordable lakefront location in Mackinaw City. It’s basic accommodation and reminds me of the motels we’d stay in the 90s when I was a kid. Nothing fancy, but has character. Balconies and beach are nice. Owner is a young women working hard to manage and take over the property. Very warm and welcoming.

Sliding glass door was broken to the balcony but we could still manage to open it. Could use updates, but you get what you pay for!

Location and views of Mackinaw bridge great. Quiet and clean. Staff was great too

Noting sticks out. Nitpicking would say the gravel parking lot is kind of tricky on a motorbike

The room was clean and had a new mattress. Hot water for the shower. Beautiful view of the Mighty Mac, they even had a fire pit on the beach. I really liked this place.

Everything was great. Lovely view of the Macinaw Bridge. Nice area at the beach for wading, fishing, watching the sunset. Has fire pits for S'mores or whatever you want to grill or cook like marshmallows, hot dogs etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend this motel.

The bathroom was rather small but the linens were soft and clean.

1. You say no pets, at our cabin area alone were 5 dogs most not least, was very disappointing because I’m allergic to dogs.
