The location was great and conveniently located close to many attractions. The room had a nice view of water and the Mackinac Bridge with free door to door service to Shepplers to ride the ferry over to the island, not to also mention the staff assisted us with purchasing discounted tickets and calling the transport to pick us up right away. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating to our needs with Lisa and Dean going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The housekeeping staff made sure our room and linens were very clean and even turned in a bag we accidentally left that had greater than $300 in items that many folks would have liked to have. They offered assistance to ensure we would receive the items via Fed or when we returned; thankfully, we weren't too far away the next day and returned and even stayed another night. Both of our stays were wonderful, and we will definitely be returning again. Thank you to all the staff, especially Lisa and Dean, for everything!

Absolutely nothing negative to mention on either of our stays!

At first we were not happy that we weren’t beach front but we did enjoy being next to the Star Line Ferry dock. We enjoyed watching the crowds load/unload and the ferry’s coming and going. Watching The sunrise was always beautiful from our balcony. We were happy to have a refrigerator in the room.

The location was further from downtown Mackinaw City then we wanted. Luckily we were prepared to not have breakfast so we had our own coffee and breakfast in the room. The room was clean but very outdated and everything worked as it should. The pool was clean and not freezing. The hot tub was disgusting, cloudy muddy water.

It was walking distance to many things and very close to the shoreline. Surprisingly quiet also given how it abuts one of the ferry docking areas.

The screen door for the deck was broken, so you couldn’t really get in or out to the deck without letting all the bugs in and fighting the door. Not possible to leave the glass door open because the screen sliding door was in such awful shape. The room was handicapped accessible to some extent, but the bathtub was absolutely not. As someone with a mobility issue, it felt very unsafe and unstable.

Breakfast was only a muffin and coffee. Internet was poor it was confusing connecting to it had to get help getting connected. Rooms were large and clean but could use an upgrade. The second day the hot tub was not working. Thought it was on the beach because it was on the water but all there was was a parking lot you could walk to the beach

The view was awesome. The staff was very helpful.

As with other hotels. They say they have a handicap accessible chairs for the Jacuzzi. But no one knew how to use it. There was no battery. They found the battery but it still didn't work. The breakfast was not that great muffins and coffee. For the price. It should have been better.

The room and the bathroom were clean. The bed was soft. The girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

"Breakfast included" is a joke. They called it "Grab and Go". There was a Coffee station in a lobby. You come in a morning and take coffee in a paper cup and a muffin. That's it. We stayed for 3 nights: our towels were never changed, the room was never cleaned, the used shampoo and conditioner were nere replaced. Same with the coffee (it was a coffeemaker in a room)

Great location. Next to ferry to the island and within walking distance to downtown.

I think you should take breakfast off the website as coffee and muffins to us is not breakfast. We choose a hotel based on breakfast being included. There should be more options for breakfast. Also the air conditioner did not seem to work well. It had to be set very low for it to kick out cool air and not shut off all the time.

The view was wonderful. The staff was very helpful nice to talk to. We would definitely stay again. The price was right.

The door to the room wouldn't lock properly. But they sent someone to fix it so it would lock. THE sliding door was hard to open to the balcony. Just needed some lubrication on the track.

The hotel was close to the Mackinac Bridge walk and downtown shopping. We could walk from the hotel to the event and the shops in town and didn’t have to worry about parking on the street. Our room was in an older part of the hotel. We were able to bring our dog with us into the hotel room for an extra $25 fee. That is the main reason we chose this destination for our stay in Mackinaw City. The the room was old and needed many upgrades but the bathroom towels and linens on the bed were clean. The beds were comfortable.

The door into the room from the outside was very insecure. The carpet in the room was very old and worn. You could see it was dirty and needed to be replaced. The cost of the room was high considering its condition.
