The best part was the welcome I received entering the hotel lobby, as I was walking up to the front desk the sweetest 'check in' lady, immediately greeted me, so personable & kind! I started by saying our beagle girl was traveling with us, an ESA dog & without hesitation this young lady stated they could never turn us down & our dog was as welcome as we were!!! (my husband was arriving later)... Just a fantastic arrival after a long drive!

Only that their pool/hot tub wasn't in service due to them being under renovation. The front desk lady (so wish I got her name) was so enthusiastic about their new hotel upgrade & shared with me we should absolutely return when it's ready summer '25! Just the construction debris/liter was pretty bad outside while walking my beagle girl.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was nice and the room was fairly nice. It’s got beautiful bones but could use a good deep cleaning and some updates. We lost our two free drink tickets 😭 The breakfast that was included was nice enough. I could see with some effort and $$$ it has five star potential.

The signage was poor and the maps brought us to the back of the hotel and we had to drive around to find the main checkin entrance. So directive signs and signs on the building would be useful and helpful.

Breakfast was a basic offering, appreciated but basic. I also wish that there wasn’t just pork for the breakfast meat, a turkey/chicken/beef sausage or bacon option would have been nice not everyone eats pork.😊

Again breakfast could have been a little better/different as well as the pool/hot tub area should open an hour sooner and stay open an hour later and have the last couple hours for adults only, one hour isn’t really enough.😊

The manager was very nice as well as the rest of the staff. The room #300 was small but clean and served it's purpose for my son.

I didn't know they were under construction,but it looks like it will be beautiful when its finished, so we had to use the stairs up 3 flights. The bathroom in the restaurant that wasn't open yet had a ceiling tile that was moved, so that felt invading of privacy.

The staff at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We did not expect a dinner the first evening we were there, but were surprised by tacos and hot dogs and didn't have to go find food on our own! Breakfast was also excellent both days. Warm eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and make your own waffles. The room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge and microwave. Overall, it was a great experience!

I LOVED how they offer a snack in the evenings for kids (popcorn) while adults get their 3 complimentary on the house drinks from the bar. They also not only serve free breakfast but a free evening meal as well!! Staff was very kind! The man I had talked to at front counter was also from Tennessee and was very helpful and friendly. We have stayed at ALOT of hotels Traveled ALOT and this is by far the BEST place. I'll be looking around for more Drury Inn's!

There was nothing I did not like about the place! Great place with or without kids. We have 3 kids that loved it! Ages 9-11

I changed to this place last second after booking a hotel in Benton Harbor. Thankfully after further review into the crime rate and overall safety of that city I found Troy instead. Not to mention at a way better value. Every resturant that we looked into was only minutes from our hotel room which was another positive of this location. The provided breakfast wasn't bad at all, great for those trying to get the most use out of their money. First time ever in Michigan and this place put the cherry on top.

Place is under construction so there is no breakfast which booking.com needs to update and let people be aware that there is no breakfast or pool and is under construction. Don't blame the hotel for this. I blame booking.com. I think I will book through a different site from now on

Everything at this hotel was excellent! All of the staff we encountered were friendly and personable. The hotel and guest room were exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was well-stocked and fresh. The included evening dinner buffet and complimentary drinks was a nice surprise! We ended up staying an extra night because we forgot some property in our room and had to return after already driving a couple of hours. When we called the hotel, manager Kait went up to our room and retrieved our property and had it at the desk when we got back. We decided to stay another night and Kait hooked us up with a room upgrade! And we got to enjoy the free dinner buffet and drinks! Definitely made up for us having to go back to get the stuff we forgot. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and will seek out Drury properties in our travels!

Unfortunately, the property was under renovation and the pool was not usable. The attached restaurant was not functioning, But we made the best of it. Lots of cross border shopping opportunities to be had close at hand.
