The resort and staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend Clear Lake Resort for anyone looking to get away, whether for a vacation or just a weekend getaway. The resort has 14 units, everything from cabins to lake front homes. They have boat rentals, with very reasonable prices. The cabin had a refrigerator and stove along with everything you needed to cook. There was also a BBQ grill on the deck for those who like to cook out and even come with charcoal, lighter fluid, and a bundle of wood for the fire pit.

There really isn't anything to dislike.

Great amenities and the location. The cabin was set up for most of what we needed. We were talking about coming back for a warmer season.

The stove had a pilot light on, but we could not find a carbon monoxide detector. Also we found it a little strange that the bathroom walls do not meet the ceiling on all sides. The only thing I could not find in the kitchen that I needed was a vegetable brush/scrubber, fairly minor though. Also their Internet was not secure.

Excellent communication from the start with the management/owners. Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the cabin. Great value for the money. Would definitely return. Bonus features - Convenience store & bar/restaurant located within walking distance (across the street) !!!

The house and the property were beautiful and relaxing.

The mattresses in the bedroom may as well have been made of stone. Rock hard... Some people like a firm mattress. I am not one of those people...

Beautiful cabin, very clean and well kept, kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans, very friendly and accommodating hosts.

Not getting instructions on where to park or what cabin was ours. Nothing came through by email or text.

All was good, we enjoyed our 40th wedding anniversary. Our kids rented a pontoon boat for us.

You can pick up pitchers at Walmart for cheap, no pitcher provided, not devastating though. The phone number on the sign, in front of the office exchanged the first three digit numeral with the first four digit numeral. So calling the ask a question contacted a local roofer?

Very cozy cabin, just the right size for my husband and I, with our 2 dogs. Somewhat remote location, but close enough to local businesses to find food and entertainment, such as the local antique store.

Many of the cabins had great views & are dog friendly. They all had their own little decks. Communication was outstanding.

Some of the cabins have limited storage spots for your things.

Cabin was adorable, Very Clean & Well Maintained. Atmosphere was beautiful. Very Dog Friendly & Nice. Greatly appreciated.
