We have never been treated like family at any hotel stay until now. Your maintenance Man Mark was beyond the kindest man we've ever met. He went out of his way making it his personal mission to ensure we had all we needed, we're able to get to and from our destinations because there were no car rentals available within a 30 mile radius. Your staff here at this location were some if the mist professional kind and supportive people I've had the pleasuring of meeting! The room was clean, inviting, and the whole inside and out was well maintained. You know the people there care and take pride in what they do and where they work! By far my best stay Ever!!

That there wasn't a car rental place near by with available rentals so no fault of Super 8.

Room was pleasant; liked that you can open window to get fresh air; bed was comfortable; staff was friendly; quiet nights -- easy to access highway and Higgins Lake North State Park.

Breakfast was okay ... had to ask the staff to replenish food; juice machine didn't work, but they eventually compensated by putting bottled juice in fridge; didn't have any bagels by Sunday or Monday (stayed Wed thru Monday) which decreased the already limited selection; but our expectations aren't that high for the room rate.

Hot tub and pool was amazing, it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, could have used a few more hot options. The carpet looked outdated but the large pictures above the beds were beautiful and a nice addition to the room, the refrigerator was very loud when the compressor kicked on ,and we were quite disappointed that the hair dryer was not working. But overall very nice place to stay and I would stay again in the future

One thing that really caught my attention was to open the room door end feel a nice smell of freshness and cleanliness. The breakfast in the morning was nice and the shower was perfect.

The only thing I would say about it is that the rooms were a little outdated. However, I didn’t see any damaged furniture. Everything was working properly , lights, outlets, fridge.

We traveled up to Grayling to visit a few of the State Parks in that area and the location is perfect. Took advantage of the early breakfast and then off to visit the State Parks and to do some bird watching.

There are a lot of ATV users that visit the area, so it can be noisy in the afternoon. But it didn't continue on into the night, so it was quiet while sleeping.

Everything except for the staff cleaning at 2-5am approx. The room shared a wall with breakfast room. Staff was banging and clanging. The worst was the cabinet doors being slammed shut frequently. It was miserable. I mentioned it to the front desk staff. The response was Thank you and ill share this information with a manager. No offer to move us or to compensate us. I suggested that they not use that room. The response was a slight smile

The NOISE from 2-5ish. The noise was on and off.

It was during the ice storm everyone was so kind there. I felt safe with all the cameras. It was quiet even though they were full with linemen. Loved the onsite washer and dryer. Very clean. Pool and hot tub area very clean. Beds very comfy. Staff was extremely nice. We would definitely stay again ☺️

I have absolutely no complaints

I found out there wasn't an elevator for my 2nd floor room. With a recent ankle injury, I knew doing stairs would be agony for me. The young gal at the desk went above and beyond to get me a 1st floor room. She was marvelous!!!! The hotel is easy to access to the highway. Four miles to Yogi Bear Campground so I could be part of the family fun and go back to a comfy bed... my ideal camping.

No elevator

Excellent location for spending days at Higgins Lake and doing day trips to Grayling/Mio. Breakfast offers enough variety - many healthier options. Loved that they accommodated our request for a first floor room; being able to look out on the woods and open the windows and enjoy the fresh air in warm weather is great! Staff was very friendly.

Wish they offered an easy chair. I realize it is one more thing to maintain - but the desk chair is not comfortable for the days I had to work in the room and it would be nice to have two chairs when there are two guests. Toilet posed some issues (pipes leaked) but they fixed it when we put in a maintenance request - tended to run unless you jiggled the handle.

Location is close to major a highway , Higgins Lake and Up North attractions; good value for the rate. Complimentary breakfast satisfying - nice variety of foods and beverages. Scenic wooded area; fuel station and C-store across the street. Accommodated our first floor request.

Staff was not as friendly/engaged with guests as previous times we stayed there.
