Absolutely loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the high-end atmosphere—the lobby is modern and elegant, with a welcoming vibe that sets the tone for the whole experience. The staff was truly exceptional—professional, attentive, and always ready with a smile or helpful suggestion. It made me feel like a valued guest every step of the way. My room was spotless and impeccably clean, which instantly put me at ease. The bed was incredibly comfortable—plush, cozy, and perfect after a long day. And the bathroom? Absolutely amazing. Spacious, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed, with a fantastic shower that felt spa-like. If you’re looking for a polished, relaxing, and upscale place to stay in Minneapolis, this hotel absolutely delivers. I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

No vending machines.

Everything about the hotel was great - the beds were comfortable, room was spacious, staff was all very friendly and helpful, lobby and facilities were really beautiful, gym floor was incredible.

Only downfall the whole weekend was that the pool was closed for maintenance, and that was one of the main reasons we stayed there with our kids for the weekend. There were several points of communication to me from the hotel before we checked in (even on the day of check in) though nothing about the pool being closed. I feel like that could very easily been included in the messages to have at least be given a heads up.

The lobby area and restaurant were gorgeous and very spacious. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions. The room was clean and worked very well for us.

We went down to use the pool and there was a decent sized smear of feces on the side of the pool. I mentioned it to a lady who was walking near by and we were then told we needed to leave the pool for cleaning. Our kids were obviously bummed, but I am thankful she took initiative to get it cleaned up. I am not sure if anything would have been done if we hadn’t said anything.

Absolutely loved the aesthetic. It's beautiful & huge & we felt like we were truly being spoiled the entire night we stayed.

Nothing to take away here!! Pricing made sense, we understood it being more chaotic with back to back games going on, a concert & Caitlin Clark all being there in one weekend. Only negative was that our room wasn't ready for us when we arrived hours after our check in - NO COMPLAINTS THO & STILL A HIGH SCORING due to the front desk being accommodating & taking care of us regardless.

The room was quiet. The layout of the 2-Queen beds was fine. One breakfast was very good, one was not... just OK, overdone eggs. Staff at breakfast was good.

Shower was a little weak, but bathroom was fine and clean. The beds were of good quality, but generally too soft (personal preference). Room was a bit dark (poor lighting), and it could use more storage for clothes (only 2 drawers and small closet.

The access to the skyway and location of this building make it great to get to different downtown areas, the room was pretty clean, the city view is amazing

The coffee shop downstairs is a little pricey for the food you get, the pool is outdated and is 4 feet all around,

The room was spacious. Loved the vanity space in bathroom. It was quiet and comfortable on the 12th Floor. I used the huge StayFit 6th Floor gym, biggest variety I have ever seen in a hotel. I did a group exercise class on the screen and lifted weights. Parking was convenient as well. I will stay again to walk to US Bank Stadium for a concert in the future.

Location and atmosphere

The rooms don’t have a microwave in the room and it’s not easy to find. Staff just mentioned it was on the 6th floor where the stayfit fitness center is and that was not enough information for someone who doesn’t know the layout of the hotel.

We loved the bed and how comfortable it was. Really nice having a restaurant and lounge on site. Liked having Starbucks on site.

Did not love the location of the room. We are Hyatt members and you put us directly outside of the elevators over looking the roof. Not great or considerate at all.

When we went for the the breakfast that came with our stay we were repeatedly asked for our room number. When the waitress found out we were getting the "free" breakfast I feel we were not treated well. We ordered three coffees with cream and sugar ,and she only brought us one black coffee. The food was great
