The location was perfect to attend events at the Target Center. My husband went to a basketball game, and my daughter and I went to a concert. We did not have to seek transportation or drive our car. We walked 2 blocks to the Target center. It was an easy and entertaining walk. We enjoyed all the Prince stuff along the walk. The lady at the front desk was from minneapolis and very helpful with how to get around and where things were located. The breakfast was pretty good, the oatmeal was made incorrectly both mornings. However, when that was pointed out it was immediately corrected. We would definitely return.

My bed was a little hard. Other than that it was great!

#1-staff! I was welcomed by a very friendly & helpful lady at the front desk. At breakfast I saw an another lady going the extra mile to help a woman with some breakfast items. All staff were very polite. #2- location. This was the perfect location for a concert at the Orpheum. #3 great value. I appreciate a nice clean hotel at a reasonable rate in the area!

If I could offer a suggestion it would be to extend breakfast until 10am during the week.

Beautiful hotel as you walk in, the room was very very nice for the price we paid. We have never had a good experience with any hotels in the past, and this was by far the best hotel we have stayed in for the price we got it for.

The only issue we had was there was constant noise and disruptions out in the hallways in the middle of the night which made it incredibly difficult to sleep. However, I am aware that this is no fault of the hotel, it was just very inconvenient

Great stay at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Minneapolis Downtown! The location and parking were perfect, and the front desk staff—especially one lady—was incredibly professional and helpful. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality breakfast, which is rare in bigger downtown hotels. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Minneapolis

I liked that coffee was ready at 6:30 am and half-and-half was provided in a pitcher. The oatmeal "bar" is a great idea and I loved the options to put on the oatmeal, but I got it a little too early and the instant oatmeal wasn't hot enough.

The packaged egg sandwiches didn't work for me, although I tried it because it seemed promising. I wish that coffee was available past the breakfast schedule. The signage/directions for the check-in door could have been much better. There were big yellow arrows on the driveway that seemed to encourage me to keep moving rather than stop at the main entrance. I thought the big yellow arrows were directing me to parking but it just took me in a circle around the building. Finding the main entrance was confusing. Great to have parking but not obvious where to park.

The front desk help was very helpful, she deserves a raise and recognition. Took all questions I had and patiently answered them and met my requests with professionalism and joy in her work.

Front door is in what would be considered an alley, breakfast was gross and they started cleaning it up at 8:25am when it was supposed to go until 9am. Several guests were disappointed by this.

On site parking was great to have, very convenient location. Clean and I appreciated being able to book last minute.

A simple vegan option at the breakfast, such as more availability of oat milk for the cereal, would have made the stay perfect. Listing the ingredients on the oatmeal would also have been nice, as I wasn't sure if it was something I could eat.

The breakfast had the " instant scrambled eggs" and a lot of other bread. It was okay but not my preference.But I do appreciate that you had a little something to grab and go. The young lady working the desk when I arrived extremely late (flight delays) was super nice and friendly.

Not sure whose idea for the semi transparent shade on the first floor of a very busy street, but it was creepy and uncomfortable knowing that all of the cars travelling past could see into my room at night. You can't take a shower and come out into the room to get dressed, anyone outside can see in. Other than that the room was great. The bathroom was spacious, and the room was spacious.

Kind staff, very clean facilities and rooms. Decent breakfast (love the biscuits and oatmeal w jam next to it). Convenient parking across the street and not bad for one night ($25).

Put curtains in room so that go all the way across the glass and block out any parking lot lights.

Big and comfort room that is quite nice. In addition, it got self laundry service which is really the traveling people need.

Only thing not perfect is the breakfast too simple to fit the brand of Fairfield that I thought. Anyway, I will still recommend it and come back.
