Staff excellent. Very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping is excellent at their job. Felt remote yet close to all freeways and easy to get places with the exception of the construction. Other guests very friendly and it started to feel like home .

Quality of bed could be improved . I purchased a memory foam topper to make it tolerable . It’s time to replace it . The breakfast was very limited. The pancake machine could be replaced with waffle maker and I think everyone would be happy . Varying what is served as the main course would make the breakfast better also . Mix it up 😊

I had a great stay at LivINN Hotel St Paul East. The property is very clean, modern, and comfortable — everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were cozy and inviting, making it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the self-service laundry room, which was a convenient bonus during my work trip. In my case, I was visiting 3M Headquarters, which is just around the corner, so the location couldn’t have been better for that purpose. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

Breakfast was nice, not great but nice. Bed was comfortable and the room ac worked great. The parking lot was well lit. The facility was obviously remodeled not too long ago and the staff was very friendly. Also, it was great having a lake view.

Shower needed better pressure or flow and the shower water handle was hard to turn. It would have been impossible for someone with serious arthritis or the very elderly, especially since the bathroom tub/toilet area is tight. Finally, the parking lot is in pretty rough shape and needs attention.

The representative at the front desk was absolutely amazing he accommodated me with complete and total respect and politeness and kindness despite it being late at night and despite me not having a reservation...if I own a hotel I would definitely want that particular male representative in my business running my business. I can't say enough nice things about the young man who accommodated me on this particular day, courtesy and respect seems to be very natural with the rep that took care of my check in on this particular day.... not only did the representative accommodate me I had a reservation but my check-in time would have been over 10 hours away he was able to find me a room and on top of all of that he was able to accept my payment from multiple cards with ease now this is the type of customer service that should be available in all businesses in the state of Minnesota at this particular time I was in a panic and he was able to come my nerves and assist me with the utmost professionalism that I've seen in years thank you so much

Clean, close enough to airport. Perfect for our purposes to sleep for a few hours. Front desk staff was very friendly.

Location. When we pulled up there were some questionable people gathered around the gazebo. We were slightly concerned about safety and our car. Noting bad happened to report!

This hotel is a housed in a 70s style motel, which has been totally refurbished with all new furniture and modern amenities. The rooms are comfortable and bright, the breakfast area is large and airy, and it offers a hot breakfast, which varies from day to day. The outdoor firepit, the large dining room, a small fitness room and a gazebo are available for relaxing outside of the room. There is no restaurant as such in the hotel, but guests can purchase fresh pizzas on site and front desk staff will bake them and pack them in a pizza box for you. It’s location just 2 blocks off the freeway was good for easily accessing quick routes to other parts of the city. I was pleasantly pleased with everything , including the weekly rate. I’ll definitely return.

The louvered window shutters in the room are lovely, but they allow a lot of light in the room early in the morning.

Great location overlooking Tanner's Lake, with all rooms on the east side having lake views. Good hot breakfast served every morning, with snacks, pizza, sandwiches, and more available by the front desk. There is a Denny's restaurant less than 100' from the hotel.

The air conditioner in my room had an unpleasant smell when it was running. Once the weather cooled, I left it off, and the room was fine. I mentioned it to the front desk upon checking out, and they said they would have maintenance look at it.

After a stressful 4 hour drive - I called asking if my room could be ready by noon instead of the 3 pm check in time , I was politely told it was ready & for just $27 additional fee , I could check in early - ugh ! While I love this hotel , if money were no object I’d have my own place here instead of a hotel room , so , I waited til 3 pm - I’m sure the room empty & waiting is just as well !

The Hotel positively contributed to our sojourn in the Twin Cities. Thanks to its staff who was not only welcoming but also present, accomodating and proactive for things we might have needed or wanted. We also enjoyed our sunny room that looked over a small lake. Also appreciated other outdoor attributes like a gazebo and a firering. Breakfast met our expectations and the breakfast area was comfy and sunny.

Breakfast coffee could be stronger.

Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. The convince of having the mini fridge and microwave. Free breakfast. Affordable rates. Nice lobby. Free parking.

Handle on the shower was sticky and difficult to turn on and off. Would be nice to have a separate door between the toilet and sink area. We prefer feather pillows.
