The staff. The receptionist was SUPERB.

The main reason we booked was a respite for a family member facing a new terminal diagnosis. We booked specifically for the pool. When we arrived, we were told the pool was closed for repair (Labor Day weekend) and we did not stay. The hotel got our booking g for you as we were standing there, and they didn’t check us in. They told us they would not charge us. The charge is appearing from Booking.com, which we used to book another hotel (La Quinta Woodbury) and stayed there. With a working pool. Was here for the Lake Elmo dog shows. Appreciated the DOG YARD the most! Pet fee was reasonable for the area at $25/noght. Staff even had doggie treats! The room was spacious, immaculate and even had a reading nook! Loved the industrial style decor as well. Front desk staff was terrific and took pride in the lobby area. I felt very safe!

Wish there were options to eat onsite though they did have a little market where you could purchase various items.

The Staff was helpful and fun. I didn't use the pool but I was a nice big one. And they were patient and helpful with us as we locked the keys in our car right at the front door.

At Checkout in the morning there was a Hispanic girl at the front desk who was quite rude to my husband when he was trying to explain our locked car situation. I didn't appreciate that. As someone who also works front desk at another hotel, it's quite obvious she had no hotel educate.

The staff was great both checking in and checking out. Very nice and helpful!

The beds were not comfortable. I almost fell twice when I took a shower. Not enough towels. Chair was even uncomfortable. No store anywhere near there. Needed better selection of alcohol. Or just more of it!

Great interior design in the lobby and rooms! I've also forgotten my wireless headphones on the bed, and all the staff, especially supervisor Sandra was extremely helpful at locating them and shipping to my home.

Staff were friendly , hot and good shower pressure.

Carpet was ripped and needed to be replaced. Main parking lot closest to the back room was out very dark

The front desk was excellent (Henry?), the room was great and perfect for the night.

Bar wasn't open so we had to go elsewhere for drinks even tho they offer a couple at the front desk. They should open the bar back up especially during a Friday

Bobby was very welcoming. The pool was nice and the beds were comfortable.

Only two microwaves in the whole building. The bar/restaurant was closed.

The room was spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, modern decor (loved the South St. Paul history wall decor.) Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will return!

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very polite.

When I booked the hotel it said that hot tub was available, when we went down to use it, it was not available it was in fact covered. We chose to swim a bit but then went back to our rooms and just relaxed.
