We were there for concert at Excel Energy Center and it's right across the street from hotel, so very convenient. But nice they had a restaurant bar that where we had dinner and drinks before concert and also breakfast in the morning. It was not a complimentary breakfast, but nice it's available. Try the parmesan hash browns. Delicious! All personnel we encountered were friendly and accommodating and that is important to me. Room was clean and comfortable.

Room was expensive as there was a concert and they did add 15% and not sure what that was for. Think they may have finagled cost for parking into cost even though we didn't use parking. Not sure.

The restaurant & bar onsite and the close proximity to other restaurants. Parking. Updated rooms. Pillows were great!

The biggest dislike was the sound. Our room did not have the usual space between the door and the bed area (usually the bathroom is between the bed and door) so you could hear EVERYTHING in the hallway, then there was someone screaming at 3am & 4am along with door slamming. Also, our window faced an intersection so you could hear all loud vehicles. Did not care for the lighting in the bathroom. Was hard to do makeup. The bed was very firm, which my husband loved but it was way too firm for me. It needed a mattress topper. Would have preferred a bar soap or makeup wipe to wash my face like most hotels have, not the body wash or hand wash they provided.

Location to the XCel was perfect! We went to both a PWHL and Wild game and it was literally across the street. We could see the Xcel entrance from our room. It was also convenient to the MN Science Center and there was plenty of dining within 2-3 blocks. Area also felt safe for walking during the day and there was plenty of other foot traffic during events. Appreciated that not only was there an indoor pool, but hot tub was well; perfect for the frigid temps. All the staff we encountered was very friendly as well. Always greeted us, whether at the desk or in the elevators, and they were happy to answer questions about the area.

More pool towels would have been appreciated. Both times we we went we got the last couple pool towels available. A complimentary breakfast would have been a bonus, but we knew this was not included when we booked. We just brought things with us instead.

Staff was very friendly and efficient in both the check in and check out processes. They explained what was included in my booming, which ended up being both my parking and our breakfasts. The restaurant staff was amazing as well, super nice and very attentive to the guests. Room was 78 degrees when we entered, so I adjusted to our desired temp. Room was clean and organized well. The location could not have been any better in regard to the distance to the xcel energy center. Parking ramp seemed to fill up quickly, however they had a sign saying ramp full, reserved for hotel guests and reservations only. Easy access to restaurants, which there are many choices within walking distance.

Location was very close to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. There are a lot of dining options in walking distance from the hotel. I liked that the parking lot is locked and secured. The front desk attendant was very nice and efficient during the check in.

The bathroom really needed a vent fan to clear the steam from the shower. I didn't care for the shower head. The water stream from the shower head was weak.

The location was perfect. We were up for the girls' hockey tournament at Xcel.. Parking was great. Bed was firm but comfortable.

The TV in our room was not telivising the hockey tournament. You had to sit in the bar to watch the hockey tournament. After a long day at the tournament, we just wanted to go back to our room to watch the other class game.

The beds were wonderful! They were very comfortable and the pillows were also. The staff was very friendly. Very clean room. The attached restaurant, Wild Bills, had an excellent food choice and the value for your money was beyond expected. The taste was very good.

It was hard to find the front entrance to the hotel. Only offered Dove products in the bathroom, which leaves a film on you. We had a smaller room but did not need anything larger. We were facing a busy road which we did hear some traffic noise. We had to pay for parking and no complimentary breakfast.

Location was excellent, directly across from the venue for our concert. Staff was very helpful.

Lack of a breakfast within the hotel, which we knew ahead of time, was still a disappointment, especially considering the lack of affordable breakfast places in the immediate area.

Convenient, easy off and on freeway.

The only complaint I would have would be the bar/restaurant that is connected to the hotel. The food really wasn’t good and my rate included breakfast which honestly McDonald’s would have been better. I do realize the hotel doesn’t have much to do with it though.

The room was spacious enough/the beds were super comfortable with extra pillows!!! We ate at the hotel restaurant/bar----EXCELLENT food & atmosphere. The bonus is the fact that we could walk to our event which was across the street---AWESOME!!!!
