Checking in was bad. Arrived shortly after supposed checkin time of 4:00, told the room was “ready but needed to be inspected” and we would get a text in half hour. waited 45-50 minutes with no text, asked at desk and room was apparently ready but nobody texted. We were treated curtly and rudely and given no information about amenities like others had been given, just told excuses “we are doing the best we can.” Poor attitude for as pricey as it is.

Location was perfect for visiting the North Shore parks and waterfalls, and was comfy to come back to in the evening. Loved the jacuzzi tub. Location was easy distance to Two Harbors and resturants. View was amazing. I liked the evening campfires and fireplace in living room and bedroom. I have stayed here before and really enjoy the units at Burlington Bay!

The sofa in our unit had definately seen better days and 1 chair was wobbly and squeeky. When we sat on the sofa, the cushions sunk in. For what we paid, I think the furniture in the living area should have been in better shape. Everything else was excellent.

Spacious, lakefront property with private access to the lake. large area for chilling at the beach with fire-pits pre set for your enjoyment. Nice friendly staff, comfortable beds.

Overall the property is nice and there have been renovations done throughput, but the exterior and specifically siding and floors on the balconies need some TLC, as well as showers need some upgrading. But if you are not picky and particular about these things than its nothing compared to the beauty the lake and nature have to offer.

We had a great family experience. The facilities were perfect for our winter vacation. However, we were supposed to be able to use $100 per room x 3 rooms for a dinner special at the restaurant. We discovered that we were not able to use that special as we booked thru Hotels.com-but would get to use $100-we were not able to use that!! Also, we spent thousands on the rental of snowmobiles-which were to be 2-2 person snowmobiles for 2 full days. We got one1 person and one 2 person rental for the weekend. I have called and left messages for Tim to call to get a credit for a 1 person sled for the weekend when we paid for 2 2 persons. Also, I have requested the $100 credit promised to our bill for the very expensive meal that we had at the restaurant on site-but have not gotten a refund-that was promised. I have not received a call back, nor a credit on my card for the snowmobile shortatge nor the restaurant credit. Communication has been a problem since I first made our reservation. We would love to make this an annual family tradition-but have a bad taste on not receiving what we paid for. Especially disappointed in no call backs throughout the entire process of booking over several phone calls and requests not answered.

Our space in building 5 was ok-but the carpet was torn up and somewhat messy-not what I expected for the money paid.

The view and how spacious!

Not quite sure what management is doing, but there is no place to get food in the day and yet they have a whole restaurant downstairs with patio that’s not being utilized. And the upstairs restaurant I hope will make it! Very beautiful!! And yet another gorgeous patio and not one chair out there to view the Lake. I would think their time & money would be better spent in restaurant that serves all budgets. Although the Chop House is absolutely beautiful but doesn’t seem to be used much…

Liked the room/suite. Location was great.. liked the s’mores they provided. Views of the lake were great.

Had to wait 2 and half hours to get into our room. A lot of people waited even longer . Issues with house keeping I guess, and all they did was say sorry. No compensation for the hassle or wait. Prices seemed way over inflated. Stayed 2 nights and after fees just shy of $800.. definitely not a place normal working class people can afford often.

We chose the pool view room for easy access to the hot tub after a day of hiking, was quiet and perfect. We especially liked the outdoor pool and hot tub with large fire nearby. The awesome bonus was the beach on the bay close by easy to get to and didn't have to bring a thing, well maybe a towel. Chairs and fire pit available. Wish we could have stayed longer.

One and only gripe.......no regular coffee in the room or lobby. Didn't care for Nespresso..

The room was very nice. The fireplace was put to good use as the weather was unusually cool and foggy. The view from the 4th floor was spectacular!

I was expecting to stay at the Superior Shores property when I booked the room. We were sent to the Burlington Bay property. I would have given higher scores but the facility at Burlington Bay (not Superior Shores) is not fully staffed. In order to check in/out, get decaf coffee pods, etc. you would need to drive over to Superior Shores location. Difficult terrain to get to the one fire pit. Four chairs for 3 buildings at the fire pit. Several people fell on the steep path of gravel.

The room was very large and the view was amazing. Loved the deck! Close to the Festival of Sail, which was why we stayed in Two Harbors. The pool/hot tub/sauna at Burlington Bay was nice. It was fun that the hot tub had the option to go outdoors from inside! At the main lodge we thought it was great that they had both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Was nice to go rock hunting at the beach in front of the main lodge!

The bed wasn't the most comfortable. The pull-out couch was really uncomfortable but I guess that's to be expected. When we opened up the pull out couch for the first time you could tell the sheets were dirty and hadn't been changed from the last occupant. The shower could have been a lot bigger and more updated for the price. Also we had to go back to the front desk at the main lodge to figure out how to get the smores kits, we were told they should have been placed in our room prior to arrival. Some of the dishes were still dirty when we took them out to use them.

I was just expecting a standard room with a fireplace, but was pleasantly surprised to walk in and find a full kitchen, separate sleeping/living space and the deck overlooking the lake!!!

The room was a little dated and needs some repairs. It would be awesome to bring back a family dining option on property. The chop house looked nice, but we ate off property for more variety/less expense.
