Good location great prices was initially hesitant due to reviews - We were pleasantly surprised and relieved once we arrived. We asked for a high floor away from the smoking floors which are level 2-3 I believe. Cafe is very nice with delicious desserts - breakfast food sandwiches pizza salads and Starbucks coffee ! Buffet restaurant is very nice with many options and very friendly staff- It was much better than other buffet at Silver Slipper!Room temperature was nice and cool as temps and humidity are warm! Large parking lot with many handicap options and valet available on weekend! Would stay again although our preference is an Air bnb rental for more space -

Smoking in casinos and restaurants - Lack of refrigerator and microwave in rooms- We bought a cheap cooler to use

The location, amenities, and staff were all wonderful. The room was ample and the pool and lazy river were great to use during our stay. We were able to use the fitness center a few days and it was sufficient. The only thing that was not great was the fact that some of the restaurants and Spa, were not open Monday, Tuesday, and some on Wednesday. Special kudos to the Grill that is open long hours and the staff there. They made a few recommendations on the food and other activities that were spot on in regards to our needs. Friendly and polite staff all around.

The hotel upgraded the room for our wedding/honeymoon! Went to the Grill/Bakery every morning for coffee and the staff was great. Chef Sandra did an amazing job on our Wedding Cake! Loved the lazy river!

The afternoon and evening staff at the Grill were rude. They could careless how they treated the customers. They even gave our order (pizza) one night to someone else. When we asked after 45 minutes, they gave an attitude and was mad that had to make us another pizza.

The room was nice and the food was excellent the lazy river and pool was excellent.

I arrived at 6:00pm and I could not check till after 7:00pm because the room wasn’t ready. I was told the cleaning staff was running behind. This is my second time staying at the Hollywood and still wasn’t able to find a luggage cart. When I asked the receptionist for a luggage cart she just gave me a very blank stare.

Loved the pool & lazy river & loved the buffet !!

Light flickered in shower / tub area which was very irritating while bathing or showering !! Room didn't have a mini fridge !! The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes due to the allowed smoking in the casino & throughout the building except the upstairs restaurants which still smelled like cigarettes due to it coming up from the casino lower area where smoking is allowed !! Smoking in my opinion shouldn't be allowed in any in-closed environments!!

Breakfast was good. My husband and I had omelets. A little salsa, bell peppers and onions would have been nice. But nothing to complain about. 😊 Overall this is a beautiful quiet location that is a great weekend escape from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The view of the bay was very serene and peaceful. The staff overall was great but Lexi at the Celebrity Grill was exceptional and a true asset to your establishment. It’s been 10 years since we last visited and the food is still great and hotel is still maintained.

Even with the kids at the pool in the lazy river, it was still nice and relaxing.

Could use a little facelift. Too many people leave trash around the lazy river and pool area. some of the employees at the front desk were not friendly at all and not smiling. Smiling faces make a better impression.

The front desk lady Jan that checked us in was rude and unfriendly later when we went to the desk she was much nicer The lounge chairs at the pool in the cabanas were in bad condition Many needed to be replaced

Room was comfortable, clean, and pleasant. It was quiet in our room and we had a great view of the pool and lazy river. The buffet was excellent (as was our server) and Bogarts' food was very good. The resort did a wonderful job with complementary New Year's eve entertainment, hats, noisemakers, and a midnight champagne toast! They even had a free photo station taking New Year's Eve photos.

The television was in a fixed position on the wall of our room and did not swivel for better viewing.

The location was beautiful! The food was great and there was a live band at the bar inside the casino! It was stormy weather and usually that spoils a trip but not this time. All of the fun we needed to make the trip a success was there at the hotel!

I have to return after the renovations to the lobby are complete. Its really gonna be beautiful!
