Loved the bed, it was very comfortable. Our view of the lake was lovely. I could have listened to the loons forever. Loved the retro heat lamp in the bathroom, and the larger than usual refrigerator.

My only complaint was in the shower. The tub was very slippery. Someone could definitely fall in there. I asked for a bath mat, but there wasn't one. A wash cloth ended up keeping us from an accident. Other than this one thing, I was very happy with our room.

Location was perfect, right on the lake. Great seating with fire pit by the water and another fire pit by the inn. Playground, Game room with cozy fireplace and seating area. Kayaks paddle boat canoe free to use. Room was nice and clean. Friendly host. Definitely coming back

2 complaints. 1st complaint was it took awhile for the hot water to get hot but I understand it's due to older furnace. 2nd complaint we rented the king room with lake view..ac was in one half of the window and the other half of the window you had to stand right up to the window to see the lake. Next time we will rent the room with the balcony view.

The Lake Shore Inn was lovely - quiet, scenic, and comfortable. Unfortunately I was traveling for work and arrived a bit later than planned so missed out on watching the sunset over the lake-but I did enjoy the sunrise as I had coffee on my lake view porch. I want to definitely return with my family as this is a lovely quaint Inn for a holiday. (The fire pit outside looked like a fun place to take in that sunset!). Bed and linens were very comfy. I appreciated the in room microwave to heat up my snacks since I did arrive late as well.

I could use more in-depth instructions on the streaming TV- although I am sure many people are more versant than I am with this technology.

We loved that place , it was quite and so cozy hotel . In that moment ( February 14-17) it was no bush that’s why we occupied this place! Amazing fireplace with play room make our one of the evening so romantic !!!! Stuff was so friendly and helpful for any questions. The price for 3 nights was the best price . We definitely will be back in the summer time for sure !!! I love that place !

The Inn was beautiful. Clean, quiet. Beautiful setting.

They texted me I could check in at 2. When we arrived no one at desk. Tel # To call. He told me I could not check in til after 3. We were not happy as we had to change clothes to leave for a wedding at 3. He found the housekeeper and she let us in a room. She was wonderful but he was rather rude.

We only spend the nights and the mornings there, so there is not much to say about it beyond the ratings. The manager was there when needed. He was kind and relatable. The facilities were great: pretty location in the countryside, isolated but not too far from everything.

Only thing I'd say is the price, which is not really specific to this property. Prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic. It is nuts.

To walk out and just relax in the beautiful scenery was amazing. Learning the history of this Inn was amazing. Mariam was an awesome host you felt like a a family member not a guest.. Wish I could have seen the eagles and deer but had to leave early for work. Sitting around the fire was so relaxing. The bed was so comfortable. The Inn was so clean and felt like you were at your grandparents. Loved the original furniture in the dining room and corridors. There was a great view of the lake and property from the balcony. I am definitely returning.

The water was close and very relaxing. The people staying there were friendly.

I wish there was a better view. Only two small windows and one had an air conditioner. Guests were smoking in the area outside under our windows and the smell came in the windows.

There’s a lovely recreation room downstairs with a pool table, darts, ping pong, books, puzzles and games. Great for entertaining kids and adults. They said there were also kayaks to borrow since it was on a lovely small lake. There’s no breakfast but k cup coffee in the room.

It was raining so we couldn’t enjoy any of the outside amenities.

Uncredible place, on the shores of the lake. offers free paddles and pedal boat to guests. Scenic fall colours in this season of the year. The rooms were well sized, clean and great. Shower convenient and with almost instant hot water. In the basement, billiard and board games.
