Newly renovated rooms and bathrooms are great. The barman was excellent and the evening dinner was good and well priced. I missed the giant scallops which used to be on the menu but I’m sure they’ll come back. We’ll be back soon.

The only negative which marked it down from 10 to a nine was the slightly poor breakfast. Much better than last year but still lacking hot eggs or a meat choice. For a price over $200/night a little better choice would be welcomed.

Air con was unobtrusive. Great! In the Marriot it’s sometimes like a hurricane next to a building site. Rooms had been given a make-over since our last stay.

Breakfast choice was v limited and eating a muffin in a dark room was not wonderful. I appreciate offering a full choice is expensive but this alternative is a spiral to no customers. Only other minor niggle was that the comforter was upside down ( opening at the top) never had that before. Housemaid quality control needs some work.

Nice rooms, really good pretty location and pretty building. Very high quality bed. I really enjoyed sleeping there. The on-site bar & restaurant may be an attraction for some .. (but I don't drink and tend to avoid restaurant food in general). Overall a classy nice place with great staff.

Breakfast was carby muffins and other assorted fattening sugary foods. They did provide me with some hard-boiled eggs on request though. If you like sugar for breakfast, then the breakfast is for you. If you, like me, avoid carbs (especially sugary ones), go for the hard-boiled eggs or eat elsewhere.

Breakfast was self service and what might be called an elevated continental breakfast. It worked very smoothly and the quality of food provided was good. It is a short walk to the centre of town. The rooms are very spacious Parking is on site, no cost and plenty of it.

I would have liked a cooked breakfast option, even if only omelettes or eggs

Just stayed here one night while passing through the area. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was huge, even had a separate living room area. The parking lot had charging stations for our PHEV rental car. The hotel is a short drive from town where there are plenty of dining options.

All was great, except for the final billing. I was charged over $40.00 US, in a separate invoice. The Hotel claimed it was a mistake. and it would be corrected. It was corrected, but the amount was half the original amount, I sent (?) a letter to Booking.com, and at the end you know what their response was - "phone the hotel". Way to go Booking.com. I phoned long distance, twice. I gave up.

We loved The Centennial! Very clean and comfortable, and room was nice and large with a fridge and microwave. It was centrally located and beautiful in the fall!

The restaurant was not open on the nights that we were there, but we were able to find another place a short drive away.

Location was great. Beautifully restored brick building sitting on a hill. Easy walk to restaurants. Very very comfortable beds and great pillows. Lots of parking, free WiFi, and an adequate breakfast.

I wish there had been a protein option (eggs) along with the breads, yogurt, OJ & Coffee.

Beautiful building inside and out. Convenient parking. Great location and inspiring history shared with the guests. The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable.

We were expecting a more elaborate breakfast with some made to order dishes and hope for more fruit. It was a simple self service breakfast that was fine - but not exciting.

It was quiet. The room was large and attractive. Bed was comfortable. Location was convenient. There was a warm comforter on the bed and the room had actual black out curtains to block light. Perfect!

Vanity are was small. Self opening entrance doors would be a bonus.
