We loved how friendly the staff was. They answered all our questions and assisted us with tasks we asked. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Great location for what we needed!

The blankets were very thin and we were a bit cold

I needed some help to get the air-conditioner to work and also for some eating utensils and the staff they help me in both areas. I was thankful for their assistance. Good walkable distance from Point Pleasant railway station.

Location, nearby casual dining, boardwalk...quiet abd clean

The hot water 'spurted' - i it took quite a while for it to become a steady stream and it wasn't really that hot.

The room was extremely clean, especially for a beach motel. No sand anywhere when we got there! The pool is large and deep and was very pleasant as it is saline instead of chlorine sanitized. The walk to the beach was a straight shot several blocks up the road. The boardwalk attractions are a bit of a walk from that end of the beach, but not bad. We were able to park when we arrived and not move the car again until we left.

My only complaint would be the noise. I don't know if it was construction or just a business that runs 24/7, but it was loud. Not so loud we couldn't sleep, though.

This was my second stay at the Atlantic Motel with my wife - our last stay was like 5 years ago, give or take. The location, price, and cleanliness are still great. We still haven’t gotten around to using the outdoor pool, but it looked good from what I saw. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was cozy, cool, clean, and quiet - it’s really all you’d need when down at the shore for a few days like we were. The AC was powerful, the TV worked, the shower and faucets had no issues. The staff members were good, too. The motel is a short walk to the boardwalk, as well as other staples like the Shrimp Box. I’m sure we’ll be back for a third stay sometime.

I would have liked the AC to have a “constant fan” option so that it doesn’t auto turn on and off throughout the day/night (or maybe it did and I just missed it). However, it was really effective at cooling the room, so it’s not a big deal.

We were in the area for a family event. This little gem was the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. Check in was smooth. Our room was very clean and free of any odors, including bleach or other harsh chemical smells. It was nice to have the small microwave and fridge. The beds were very comfy. It was extremely quiet. (Keep in mind this IS a resort area. So, the noise level would be very different during the Summer.) The location is great. We were able to easily walk to the beach and stroll the boardwalk. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as a 7-11. We would definitely look forward to staying at the Atlantic in Point Pleasant Beach again in the future.

The staff was nice -- the clerk ran out of the office to give me my parking pass. The location isn't right on the main beach but it's about a 15 or 20 minute walk away. The motel is close to a channel with lots of fishing boats and some good fish restaurants very close by. We liked our room with a little balcony and a view of the pool. It was clean and an excellent value given the height of the beach season on the Jersey shore.

The air conditioner was noisy. The room itself was a bit lacking in tissues or soap but there were some.

Clean and comfortable room that was well maintained by housekeeping, and a nice little balcony. The nightly rate is not cheap, but it's much better than competing properties. Also they've improved some things since last year - the pool is now cleaned early in the morning, rather than mid-afternoon when most people would want to use it. The amenities are fine = fridge, microwave.

The motel website states that there is coffee/tea in a common area, but there isn't. They should remove that from the site.

Bed comfortable, pool nice, clean

Do not obtain your beach passes from the motel. They advised they had some available for my party, but what they didn’t say was that although I bought them at a $10 discount rate, they would only be mine from 3:30 pm to 8 pm THAT DAY! Who goes to the beach at 4 pm?? So I spent $40 on beach passes that I never used. And while the office attendant was more than sure to advise me if I lost them, I would have to pay $130; he never told me about the same day usage. Totally felt ripped off!
