After I made the reservation on Booking.com I was contacted by the staff at the Windswept, confirming the reservation which was a nice touch, this is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property using the Booking app. Also the staff wanted to make sure we received the room we wanted and gave me a few options on the location of the room in the hotel. The room we received was in a great location on the 2nd FL with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean, which is exactly what I had hoped for!

not a thing, we love this location, it's close to everything we want when we visit Point Pleasant, we will continue to make reservations here when we return!

The staff was excellent , very helpful. The location is great very close to the beach and boardwalk

The only thing we didn't like was the air condition in the room. It kept shutting off and then coming back on, it was good for sleeping at night. Another thing tents should not be allowed on the beach we got to the beach early and someone came and put a tent up right in front of us, it blocked our whole view in front of us. We had the tent pretty much in our faces.

No breakfast was included. Just coffee. Loved the location. Close to the boardwalk. Room was nice. A/c worked well.

The shower head needs to be spraying more inside the stall. I had to stand so close to the curtain to use it. You really can’t sleep in bc the cleaning staff was up early and was on the balcony with their equipment and the windows don’t really close enough to stop the sound.

Beautiful beach view room. The room had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and we were literally right on the beach. Plus, there was so much to do within walking distance. And if you're driving, you wont need more that a few minutes to drive to what you need. The staff was incredibly friendly. This was our first visit, but I will absolutley be back.

The location is exceptional. With young children, we appreciated being able to walk right out to the private beach and the boardwalk, but also that it was a little set apart from the busiest areas. The staff was excellent and very welcoming and our room was large and very comfortable. We loved having a balcony as well.

The location was great it was on the end of the boardwalk so it was very quiet and peaceful. But it gave us something to do during the day and night. I also really enjoyed how close it was to the beach and how we had a private peach away from everyone. The beach and the hotel was very clean. The staff were amazing.

WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE ? IT"S AN EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION, THE LOCATION CAN'T BE BEAT, TO BE HONEST !! THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL !! THEY ARE PERSONABLE AND ACCOMMODATING, THE POOL AND SUNDECK ARE LITERALLY AT THE SANDLINE !! AND YOU'RE STEPS FROM THE OCEAN !! YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF REGULAR ROOMS, ONE BEDROOMS AND AN APARTMENT, THEY"RE SIMPLE, COZY AND CLEAN SHORE ROOMS,,,, AS WELL, THE BOARDWALK AND RIDES ARE LITERALLY STEPS AWAY !! POINT PLEASANT IS ONE OF THE CLEANEST AND SAFEST TOWNS YOU WILL EVER SEE ! AS A MATTER OF FACT, POINT AND THE SURROUNDING TOWNS ARE UNSURPASSED !

It was very clean, and pleasantly decorated. The location to the private beach was amazing. The pool was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. **Really important: use of beach-pool- and restroom after we checked out. The use was for the day- totally exceptional benefit.**

A little worn and outdated for the money.

Location was great.Room was just what we needed for me and my 15 yr old and 6 yr old for a few nights visit. Right at the end of the boardwalk. Close enough to walk but very quiet other then the people staying around us. Had a balcony so I could wake up to watch the sun rise every night. Parking was tight but we had it and I was grateful, beggars can't be choosers!!! Water was rough so we used the pool everday, that was nice. We did go on the beach for a bit courtesy of the hotels beach path so we didn't have to pay. Tables/chairs to eat or hang and a shower at the end of the hotel path so it was easy for clean up our feet going in and out. Housekeeping was TOP NOTCH. Everyday they called/knocked and asked me if I needed somethig. Friendly and just over the top. Again, 5 stars for the housekeeping staff!!! We ate typical boardwalk food at Jenkinson's but 2 sit down restaraunts we ate at while visiting was Shore Fresh seafood market(ok food, no view, a little pricey for what we got) and the Wharfside (excellent view, food, service, we would def. visit again.). We drove to both but a short 5 min drive. Property could use some updates here and there but overall staff was all friendy, great location and great value!!!!

We were early to check-in but they gave us our parking pass and beach passes so we could explore; we walked around the corner to the boardwalk entrance and 20mins later received a call that our room was ready! Staff was all very kind, courteous and very accommodating. The motel itself was very quaint, quiet, clean and close to everything we needed! The boardwalk, rides, beach, mini-golf, dining options and shopping were all within walking distance without stealing away your energy! My family and I had an exceptional time and will definitely be booking here again for next year!
