Visiting for work in NYC, I stayed here at the courtyard for two weeks 12/10- 12/23, and I will be staying here each and every time I visit NYC in the future WITHOUT QUESTION… Hotel Staff/ Cleanliness: This hotel is placed in a beautiful calm area just outside of the hustle and bustle of NYC. Each staff member I met was very kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean in all areas! The rooms are very clean and up to date. Commuting Details: The bus stop is about a 15 second walk from the Hotel which gives you access to various locations in New Jersey, or New York. From the hotel you take the 320 bus to Port Authority NY and you’re there in 20min or so (nice scenic bus ride). If you’re traveling to Jersey City/ Hoboken areas then the 85 bus gets you there and the commute is about 25min or so. *I decided to use the NJ Transit app which made everything a Breeze, it also saved me money by purchasing tickets in bulk. You just open the app, activate your ticket you purchased and show the driver your phone. I believe the commute cost to NYC is $8.50 round trip if you’re paying as you go. Again you can purchase a bunch of one way tickets on the app and save yourself some money. Food and Dining: There is an Outback Steakhouse connected to the hotel. There is a Starbucks express in the lobby of the hotel which is open until about 9am. Aside from that there are various sports bars, restaurants, diners, and carry out spots within walking distance. There is also a super Walmart within walking distance that could serve your small grocery needs, and a Sams Club attached which could be useful as well. In Conclusion: If you’re visiting New York or Jersey City area and would like a comfortable stay THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! In all honesty you will not find many better options when you compare price/quality/location in the area, much less n the other side of the Hudson in NYC. I paid a fraction of the price and got double the quality.

The Rooms do have refrigerators but Do Not have microwaves. There is a microwave in the lobby that guests are able to use.

- Perfect location just outside NYC - Bus into NYC right beside the hotel ( only 15 mins bus drive at $4.25 one way) - Outback Restaurant connected to the hotel has great food probably the best in the area - WallMart right beside the hotel - Staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best they could - Best experience I’ve had in a hotel before and first time in the U.S - The rooms were fantastic the beds were really comfy

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and always helpful. The location is great, with many good restaurants nearby. There’s also a bus stop right behind the hotel that takes you to Manhattan in just about 25 minutes, making it very easy to reach the Times Square area. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it!

Nothing major, but the shower could have a bit more water pressure, and it would be even better if the rooms didn’t have carpet.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good except for a little hiccup (see below). Very convenient to Metlife for the concert we were seeing.

Breakfast was included with our stay. Our friends went down before us to get started, ordered coffees and they had to be charged to our room. I came down and informed them that breakfast (including coffees) should be included. The server said he didn't know which room they were in so he couldn't know that it was included. But, he charged the coffees to the room so he did know. Of course it was too late for a refund...

The property was perfectly located close to all amenities and bus to New York. The hot water was a hot and miss on most days and toilet backed up on our 5th floor but they fixed it. English was a problem for a lot of the staff. Seems they only speak Spanish😳 but then again so were the staff in Walmart down the road. Very surprising.

Location is 2 min walk to the bus station to NYC. A plaza mall is nearby , 15 min walk with several discount stores. Also a big Walmart is a 5 min walk away. The room was big enough, bed was comfy and all was clean. The staff were nice and very helpful except for one of the ladies in the morning shift!

toilet didn't 't flush and I asked to change my room but was told the hotel was fully booked and had to wait for 5 days out of the seven I stayed in order to get another room!! I discovered that I have to flush it twice to make it work better yet it was still bad! The lights in the room were very limited and so it was very dim at night. One of the ladies in the reception morning shift was exceptionally rude. I was really put off by her attitude. She was unfriendly ,never smiled and never even looked at me when I talked to her on several occasions during check out or to ask about a taxi service. She was an exception as the rest of the staff were super nice.

Location is fantastic. 5 min walk to wallmart and very close to a good selection of restraunts and a cinema. Also a 40 min bus to NYC

A kitchen would make it perfect but I knew this wasn't included and isn't typical for hotels. Fridge is a bit small but you can manage for shirt trips. Wish it was possible to open windows for fresh air but at least there was aircon.

I would like to thank you for your hospitality in the last week, I would especially like to thank Maureen and Nancy at the reception for their kindness at the check-in and all the information we've been given about New York. We were looked after very well in the hotel, we received a local map and all directions for public transportation from New Jersey to New York and return. The ladies showed great professionalism, courtesy, and a fantastic sense of humor. It was a pure pleasure to stay in the hotel, Thank you!

location was good near to some stores, food, gas. parking available nearby. staff was very friendly and helpful. room was clean, comfortable.

would have liked a microwave. bed was a little too squishy, did not like the comforter, too heavy. wi-fi was not a secure connection and therefore used my laptop very little, very disappointed I did not check e mail or do any research I wanted.

Location is perfect for our business needs and very close to the business we visit on an annual basis. The breakfast was satisfactory as we usually do not eat breakfast. finally, we feel very safe at this location.
