The room was spacious, clean, wonderfully sized bathroom, and TV came with a lot of channels. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful at all times, and there was always someone at reception 24/7. We chose to stay here because it was the cheapest accommodation during the Christmas and NYE period to try and save money while we went back and forth to Manhattan, and it exceeded our expectations completely.

It's not the most conveniently placed location. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop, and even further to get to restaurants, cinemas, and the closest Walmart/grocery is even further out. It would be better to have your own car. The gym facility was pretty disappointing and could hardly be called a gym.

The trip I made was very last minute and was still affordable in the time I had to make a decision about where to stay to visit NYC and my sister who currently lives in Astoria; the staff were always nice whenever I had to ask them for assistance. The desk always had someone there, and they were always able to help. They even had an info sheet on which buses go to NYC Room was in very good condition upon my arrival!

The one downside is not the fault of the staff or hotel, but rather the transit system/pedestrian system/infrastructure of NJ; the closest bus stop for the buses to go to NYC was about a 8-9 minutes walk - that itself wasn’t the issue for me. But there was a part of the walk where there’s no sidewalk and you have to walk on the road. Granted that part is not that long - it takes less than minute if you’re walking normally, but if you’re carrying bags like suitcases, it will take longer. Again, I don’t blame the staff or hotel for this particular bit. But I understand this can be a factor for people with trouble walking.

The staff was courteous from the moment we arrived until the second we departed. This was our second stay at this establishment. The parking garage is a valuable asset, and the hotel amenities are excellent. Although we didn't have breakfast this time, we are confident it was as enjoyable as on our previous visits.

Navigating the parking area can be challenging, as there's no option to turn around if you miss the sole entrance. It's akin to missing a final approach and needing to go around again, resulting in a lengthy and tiresome journey. The informational paper provided at the front desk regarding the bus schedule and system should be concise and include a small map. Additionally, we were unaware that the return trip from midtown would drop us off further down the street from our original pick-up location.

Water was not hot like a hotel is supposed to be. Also the jacuzzi couldn’t enjoy it cause the stopper was messed up and water kept draining

Great location, very close to MetLife. The breakfast is not free but it is delicious and worth buying. They sell beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks on site. Beds were very comfortable. If you look just right you can see NYC skyline from your window. Has garage parking for free.

The room was a little worn, one of the paintings on the wall was missing, bottom of the bathroom door was frayed a bit. Overall good but not in excellent condition.

Room, facilities, helpful friendly staff, plus functional restaurant with a good menu for breakfast and dinner.

Roads can be a little tricky the first time arriving, but navigation system helped.

All staffs were very friendly , polite and helpful. The rooms and toilet was properly cleaned. Breakfast was very good. Ideal location to stay for watching concert at Metlife stadium. Special thanks to Brandon and others in front desk who made our weekend stay ( family) so comfortable. Five star to Hilton Garden Inn. Highly recommended.

Good breakfast that was cooked to order. Rooms was clean and spacious. Check in was easy, as was checkout. Woudld stay there again if in area.

nothing that I can think of. We may have had a problem if we would not have arrived by 2 am. Out flight was very delayed due to weather.
