The Inn is a lovely old building with beautiful artwork throughout. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very well done — far superior to any you might find at a chain hotel.
I would have appreciated a bedside table on the far side of the bed to place my cellphone, reading material, water glass, etc.

Lydia made us feel so at home the moment we walked in. Our room was nothing like a hotel room. It was a beautiful bedroom in a beautiful old home. I especially enjoyed the reading nook. The antique furniture and old wood floors had a patina that contributed to a cozy, relaxed feel. The dining area was our favorite with all the beautiful paintings and dark wood tables and chairs. We roamed the first floor admiring all the art on the walls. Not just paintings but quilts and pictures that dated back several decades. In the mornings, we woke up to the smell of coffee brewing. There would be a table with muffins and fresh fruit salad and orange juice. Then Lydia would bring you out the breakfast of the day. Breakfast croissant sandwiches or pumpkin pancakes and sausage, all freshly made. We would highly recommend this Inn.

Very cool old old building over 100 years old that has been transformed into a very awesome artist themed B&B I was greeted by Lydia, who was very very kind showed me how to get in and out, and I felt very safe. She showed me where to see the different pieces of art and showed me to my room, which was the Georgia O’Keeffe room and had Prince and pictures of her work. I really enjoyed the fact that many of the original type or at least from the 1920s and 30s aspects of architecture had been left in the rooms. The way of the room had been used and the old fireplace was quite convenient and very cute. I especially especially loved the Reading nook in my room. I actually used it. I read a book well partially and was able to leave a book as well. It was a nice little way of feeling like a community of a place that really appreciated such a cool landmark. It’s like a treasure in our own town. Unfortunately I had to go to work early so I missed the breakfast and had to go get a coffee earlier than was available, but I am a very early riser ha ha this is a wonderful place with a lot of history.

The Inn was within walking distance to downtown cultural nightlife or a short 3 minute drive. The room was spacious, shower and bathroom were clean, and the decor was amazing. The heater for the unusual cold weather we were experiencing was perfect. I didn't get to have the breakfast provided due to my schedule but I couldn't believe it was part of the package. Mostly because it is a home cooked breakfast. The parking was secure as the property has it's own parking lot. The exterior of the Inn is also excellent with beautiful landscaping.
That I only stayed one night!

What a fantastic place to stay if you're sick of corporate hotel chains and want a more welcoming and personal experience from a boutique hotel instead, like staying in someone's loving home. The inn is cozy and appreciative of art and Lydia is committed to the comfort of her guests, including offering a proper breakfast. The enclosed backyard was a delight for my dog, and the room and the details within it were wonderful.
I think they could use some help with gardening, but I think at least part of that has to do with the brutal heat in the summer.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The house is unique and beautiful, the room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the communal aspect of the place, which was especially noticeable during breakfast, as it was nice to sit at the large table with the other guest and chat and get to know them. Breakfast was delicious and there was fresh squeezed orange juice!
There was some strange music playing all through the night, it sounded like a very old fashion song without words that was playing on a loop, it was kind of faint but still noticeable, but I was still able to sleep okay. It sounded like it was coming from the room next door, so maybe it was from one of the other guests and it could be just a one-off situation.

This little property has a charming vibe and fascinating history! The art inside is lovely! The hostess was delightful and accommodating. She even loaned us some saucers for sliding down the sand dunes in White Sands! She served a nice little breakfast for us before we hit the road.
There was nothing I didn’t like, but the bathroom and room could have used a little paint touch up or updating. But, the charm of the place is its history, so we just consider it part of the history of this old building.

After a long trip across the country as a solo traveler with my dog, this was the perfect respite for my tired body and a great space for my pup to stretch her legs and have some good roaming time in the garden. The Inn is relaxing and calm, the artwork lovely to look at and Lydia is friendly and welcoming. I have stayed here before and knew I wanted to stay again. I will be be back when I embark on my next sojourn.
I can't think what would make it better...I enjoyed my time spent at the Inn.

We had the pleasure of staying at the charming Lundeen Inn of the Arts in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and I can't recommend it enough! This is our third time staying there. We were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The inn is a beautiful blend of artistic decor and cozy, eclectic comfort, making it feel like a home away from home -- with a slightly aging grandeur. The host, Lydia, is incredibly gracious and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. She provided a helpful recommendation for dining at D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro, which truly enhanced our experience in Las Cruces. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast served in the expansive art gallery with a cathedral ceiling and clearstory lighting. We also loved the unique artistic touches throughout the inn, which showcased local artists and created a vibrant and inspiring environment. The peaceful garden area was an ideal spot for relaxation. If you're looking for a unique and uplifting place to stay in Las Cruces, Lundeen Inn of the Arts is an absolute gem. Whether you’re an artist yourself or just someone who appreciates creativity, this beautiful bed and breakfast will leave a lasting impression.
As we prepare for each day's adventure, we catch up on the morning news. We have grown accustomed to a larger TV screen than the one available in our room and would have appreciated a slightly larger viewing area.
