The staff at reception was friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very large with a comfortable sitting area and a tv with Chromecast. The bed was also large and comfortable. The bathroom was very adequate, not too big but with enough room. The hotel is well situated along one of the main roads and a short drive away from downtown and many different restaurants. Despite its location the street noise was minimal.

Free bottles of water in the room would have been appreciated (and provided in Home2 Carlsbad). The breakfast felt quite minimal and many options were already gone by the time we came down to eat (still well within the operating hours of the breakfast). The fridge in the room made a lot of noise so we turned it off.

As I WALKED IN THE FRONT DEST LADY WAS SUPER NICE AND WAS SO RESPECTFUL. GAVE US ALL DETAILS FROM BREAKFAST,ELEVATOR COFFEE 24 HRS. JUST FELT REALLY WELCOME. WHEN I WAS CHECKING OUT IT WAS A GENTLEMAN,AND SAME WAS SUPER RESPECTFUL AND REALLY EASY TO CHECK OUT. THANK YOU STAFF FOR MAKING MY STAY REALLY GOOD.

Clean, comfortable, large room and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast is just ok. Road noise is a problem all night and morning. You will need white-noise unless you're a sound sleeper. Our room [309] had a loud HVAC unit and a broken sleeper sofa. We made it work but definitely disappointed.

I like the contemporary look and feel of the place. I think that is my 4th or 5th stay in different cities. I will always look for them whenever I travel!

The room always feels cool. I turned up the thermostat but I remains cool with air blowing. I watched TV in my sweatshirt and sweatpants.

The gentleman at the front desk was nice and very welcoming. The pool was great for our kiddos and the room was very spacious.

Breakfast needed more options.

it is a beautifully maintained property, and close to restaurants and things that we did. Chris at the front desk made us feel like family when we entered the hotel. He helped us navigate the area so we could find restaurants and activities to do. Miriam the beautiful women who helps with your breakfast is amazing. She went out of her way to make for sure that we had everything that we needed. She treated us like we were really special. She even turned on the fire pit outside so we could enjoy our breakfast outside.

Great location, staff was friendly. Room was roomy, clean and comfortable for my family of 5. The outdoor spaces we also clean and comfortable, providing an area and another option for us to eat outside. The breakfast was also approved by my family.

Nothing we had a pleasant experience

The breakfast could use some improvement. Fresh eggs, sausage and bacon would be nicer. Also more variety instead of same thing every day. Location is very good. Excellent, friendly and caring staff. All great customer service and good to just have a friendly conversation. They were also very helpful!

Breakfast needs some improvement. Some people not picking up their pet’s waste. Still overall a nice place to stay.

Carlos at the front desk was great. This hotel is worth every penny. It's clean, breakfast was great, location was near all the restaurants so you have a variety of places to explore. I have nothing to fault this hotel. It was one of the best I've stayed at thus far.

The bathroom door was weird the way it opened into the toilet - the door was too big not designed well.
