One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a lot to choose from and the coffee with the different creamers was definitely a plus and My kids enjoyed the hot chocolate. The lobby was decorated for Christmas and was very festive. My children especially loved trying to find the elf in the lobby.

The pool needs a really good cleaning. The wall along the inside of the pool looked green and there was way too much chlorine in the water. My children’s eyes were red and burning after being in the pool. I also noticed mold forming on the bathtub/ shower walls in room 421. It wasn’t a lot but definitely something that should be taken care of soon. Also you may want to put an ice machine on each floor, there is only one ice machine and it’s on the first floor. It’s inconvenient for guests with small children.

I use this property often. I’ve been here so many times as of lately it has gotten a little more expensive but so has everything else. I love this place because it’s welcoming. The staff is usually always nice. It’s clean. The pool is great. It’s a nice location it has gotten a little more busier lately with a lot more traffic, but it’s very peaceful. This is my favorite hotel to stay in for sure and I travel a lot.

What I didn’t like was out of their control. I didn’t like that. It was kind of busy and I didn’t like that the pool water needed to be clean.

Overall it was a pleasant travel experience. We stayed with you before when we've come to Kingston to visit my son who lives near the Hampton Inn. Room was comfortable. Spacious. Nice TV. WIFI was good for us to research restaurants etc. Breakfast was good.

We were with you for 3 days and our room was not cleaned once. No new towels... bed wasn't made... garbage not emptied. No one in your cleaning staff took care of our room.

Staff very helpful, bed very comfortable, shower and bathroom very good, very clean, I was very happy with it overall.

No restraint or Bar

Everything was ok except the internet.

The internet was ok for normal browsing but was not powerful enough to do office work. We tried to get premium internet but were unsuccessful. We cannot even get in touch with any tech people associated with hotel or by calling the phone number given by the hotel.

Breakfast was very good.

Rear of building faces major freight rail line with many trains running back and forth through the night blowing horn. Ear plugs provided in rooms can help block this noise out. Also, make sure you bring cups up from lobby for use in your bathroom before heading to your room (none are provided in room).

We had a very comfortable stay at Hampton Inn Kingston in late September 2024. Our room was spacious, well furnished, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the lunch bags were much appreciated. The entire hotel is also well maintained with maintenance staff visibly performing preventive maintenance. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beds comfortable, good location, friendly staff, free coffee n tea 24 hrs

Breakfast: very little choice and everything is throw away and plastic.. the plates, the cups, the cutlery packed one by one in small plastic bags. Even apples they pack one by one in plastic. All over the world we try to reduce plastic, I think its about time that US hotel chains start to be a good example and stop this nonsense. Put real plates, glasses n cutlery and hire somebody to wash them

I liked the free bottles of water and the friendly staff. The shower was nice. We used the refrigerator and microwave, they work well.

The pool was very cold although the pool room is nice and warm. The bed was not comfortable and the people above us were heavy walkers, so it was hard to go to sleep. The room doors slam shut which is startling.

The breakfast was on par with other chains offering this. The room was comfortable and working functional with standard economy hotel offerings. The lobby staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was situated in the central core where the two wings converge on the elevator. I’m not sure about other rooms, but ours had a large floor to ceiling air handler unit in the corner beside one of the two queen beds-where one would usually see a comfortable chair. So the only place to sit was on a bed or on the standard desk chair. We also had a neighbor across the hall with two piercingly loud yapping dogs.
