Spacious room in an architecturally interesting building. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We especially loved the renovated bathroom, big shower with multiple shower heads (my husband said it was the best shower of his life), and the well-lit closet space. We also enjoyed the breakfast-- good, simple food served in an elegant and quiet dining room. Great way to start the day.

Tiny gripes: I wish they had robes in the rooms, and a few more drawers or other places to put things. There is a lack of convenient outlets in the room-- we had trouble finding places to plug things in.

The room was fantastic, but a bit misleading as the fireplace is not operable. Loved the heated floors, but we kept running out of hot water when we drew a bath.

Small communication issues - couldn’t get ahold of the front desk when calling multiple times, and didn’t love having to check in at the main property 4 blocks away. Not a big deal but it was 12 degrees out so walking wasn’t as ideal as it would be otherwise. They seemed short staffed for breakfast as there wasn’t anyone around to ask questions or bus tables. Just seemed like for the price we paid service elements could be better, it’s those details that matter. But overall nice stay and the room was truly perfect for our stay.

loved the style of the rooms, the location is fantastic - walkable to so much, rooms were clean, staff delightful. I had a wonderful lunch when I arrived and enjoyed that the space felt like both a restaurant and a place I coudl hang out and read in for a while. I appreciated the continental breakfast - and the offer to take something back to my room or to go.

a little more variety of milk and bread choices at breakfast. loved my room, but maybe felt pads for the feet of the furniture in the room above mine.

The main hotel is nostalgic, and well thought out. Very nicely renovated. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices for all different tastes. The room was simple, pretty, and very roomy. We appreciated that the windows open for some fresh air. The locations we all downtown, offering easy access to shopping and eating.

We stayed in a different location, just 2 blocks away and was a little disappointed that there was not a common area/lounge to sit and read a book, or an ice machine. We also could not figure out how to use the air conditioner, but opening the window was good enough. Again, not staying in the building that has the main desk was a little strange for us. Please be aware, when you book a room, you might not be staying in the main building where all the amenities are located.

Continental breakfast was fine. Our last day we took it back to our hotel room on John Street. The staff was all very helpful and friendly.

A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. We were at the 24 John Street property and would have to go to Wall St. address for breakfast. Being able to make coffee in the morning would have been nice.

This was a birthday present, so I loved just getting to relax in the beautiful room and read by the fireplace. Dinner at the restaurant was also excellent - delicious and comfy, too, as I was also able to read by the fireplace there, while enjoying some chamomile tea and an amazing salad and ribeye steak.

I really loved it, but a great reading chair with an ottoman would have really put it over the top

The staff was excellent and really friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was great, but the room was really small for the price. The hotel was clean but the carpeting in the hall could use an update. We loved the art and design of the restaurant and bar. We would definitely stay there again but at a different one of their properties that has a larger room for the price.

Beautiful comfortable classy room, unique property. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Love the neighborhood.

Stairs to room (Beautiful room) very steep and noisy. Slow service at restaurant but food was delicious, staff kind and bartender great. Breakfast is simple but so tasty.

Amazing turning a bank into a boutique hotel. Checkin in informer bank vault. Wow!!!

Parking meters outside the hotel are ambiguous For a 25.00 ticket, needed to specify my spot either left or right. In a microsecond Inwas ticketed. No reflection on the hotel just beware of meters.

The location is very central for touring Kingston. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good in a nice space.

After checking in, I requested a room with more natural light, but they only have 3 rooms with 2 queen beds. The others were occupied. They might consider adding a couple more 2-Queen rooms.
