Up on arriving the room was nice and clean. The atmosphere around the property was great and the other guests were very friendly

Would had been great to receive continental breakfast when I being charged $390 for two nights. Housekeeping never came to refresh the room. Not even clean towers. There was a charge to use the pool. $2 per guess to enter pool. A$20 pool key deposit. And only 3 beach umbrella worked out of 12. Very disappointing experience.

The reviews are somewhat misleading. This place was great! The beds were clean and comfy. Really toasty and coy. And theres a big heater in the room, you can put your clothes on to warm them. The room was great size, we had two double beds. Some room have mini fridge, other rooms have big size fridge. I enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed. It's across the street from the beach. Theres 3 or 4 restaurants within walking distance. Ralph's Pizza is 10/10 amazing Italian.

The thin walls. You can hear everything in the next room. First night, loud RnB. I get it, get it on and rub some funk on it. But the last night, the couple wouldn't stop yelling and were literally whooping until 1am. Dropping stuff or throwing stuff. Whatever it was when it landed, landed hard. So after 1am, I finally doze off, only to be woken up at 6am by a screaming crying child. For 2 hours. 2 HOURS.

The place was better than expected! It's in a great location, too. There are a few small shops to get actual, not mini-mart food. For insurance, visit Ralph's Pizza if ya can. The beach/water is also right across the street within walking distance. The room was also very clean and, unlike most motels, the door didn't have a huge gap at the bottom. There was BOTH a mini frig and microwave. We also paid an extra $5 to get a king so we also got a small kitchen and a full sized frig. The bathroom was also a good size. It's no Ritz hotel, but for $70/night, you can't get better

It's dumb, but the remote was missing from the TV. It was a useless large tv

Quiet room...

1. Lock on room 21 is BROKEN! - - - 2. At 8 PM room #21 was not ready for me! 8PM! Cleaning lady was just cleaning my room for me and I was waiting for my room in parking lot in the front of room... You can imagine that bad smell.of chemicals in that room... At 8 PM on Saturday! Room was NOT READY! Yes! CLEANING LADY WAS CLEANING ROOM #21 FOR ME! At 8PM on Saturday!

We absolutely love Mae! We have been staying here almost every week for a year now. This is a great hotel, great value, and excellent location. We love walks along the beach, our daughter loves to play on the playground, and you may recognize the hotel in your favorite TV shows or movies. We were there when they were filming, and to see the celebrities up close was amazing.

There is nothing we didn't like.

The room was cheap and clean, and they even gave me a free upgrade! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is great value for money. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to my friends and family.

My family loved how close the attractions were we could literally be to the beach in walking distance within 5 mins with 3 small children. The price for this location is great.no noise

They could’ve provided more basic dish needs for the kitchenette so we didn’t have to buy items as they were very limited and not new

Room was spacious tons of drawer space , A place to hang clothes. Nothing fancy but Furnished well had a mini fridge and microwave.. Room was very clean . I was there when the Bayville Scream park was open for their last week. I loved overlooking the scary attraction it was cool( I imagine had this been in the height of Halloween season place could get noisy and crowded) Motel is right across from the sound and a nice beach. There were a few seaside restaurants ( some with cute bars inside and out) within a very short walk’s distance , also a few small boutique stores and liquor store. Motel had a tiny store to get a snack, water , candy etc. The location of this place is great. I sure hope they shape up the outside a bit by landscaping , cleaning up regularly and possibly renovating the Room where it might have been a restaurant , party room to place that serves motel customers a breakfast years ago?? This place has great potential …. However …. if they put more into it they will Jack up the prices ( in that case…. Keep it like it is lol🤣)

Outside could have been cleaner and tidier

We chose the Tides in for its proximity to a wedding venue and our sister’s home in Bayville. It was a fair price for region and it was right across the street from the beach. We walked to the local deli for breakfast (Excellent sandwiches) and coffee. There are also a few restaurants for dinner or lunch with in walking distance. The king size bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. The pool was quite large and nice, plenty of lounge chairs. I appreciated that there was a fridge and a microwave in our room. This is not a luxury place, but for the price and location, it worked great for us

The flickering light over the bathroom sink was so dim that it was not good for applying makeup and barely useful at all. There were a few odd things, but no deal breakers: an extra, unplugged fridge in the corner of the room? A broken lamp on the closet floor? The bed was great but had no fitted sheets? So the flat sheets used as the fitted sheet come untucked. Over all things were good, just the place needs a little attention.

Management is great, perfect little get away in a beautiful area. Not a 5 star luxury hotel by any means but absolutely spotless, classy, comfortable, and a good place to stay. Don’t judge the quality by the outside. Honestly cleaner than 5 stars 5x the price I’ve stayed at.

The outside needs cleaned up a bit and prettied up but the room was impeccable as always.
