I’ve stayed at the property in the past and the location is perfect right on the Bay and away from the town activity, It is walking distance to Gosman’s dock and the Harbor. The property is well maintained and they have made a number of upgrades since I last stayed there. Perfect spot to watch the beautiful Montauk sunsets. the staff was very nice!

The kitchen was not well stocked if you were planning on doing any cooking. there were no forks or frying pan and the glasses were plastic and old looking. The nights were cool but there were no extra blankets.

The room was clean and big. Perfect location to the pool and the beach. Loved how cute the little town was. Loved how we could walk to diff places.

The lobby was out of Keurig cups because they were waiting for a delivery. They should have supplemented and bought some since the website states complimentary coffee. We were disappointed we couldn’t have coffee in the morning. We also did not know it was a timeshare and you need to bring things yourself like and Airbnb rental. We expected to be able to get more pillows, blankets and towels from the front desk. Poorly ran management.

Location was wonderful, staff was friendly, room was very clean and facility was nice. The furniture in the room was comfortable and the beds were nice and soft. The view of the sunset from the beach patio was beautiful.

Parking was limited and not designated per room. Lounge chairs in sand area were shabby and need replacing. The window in the bedroom didnt have a screen, so we couldn’t open the window to get the ventilation without bugs flying in. It was pretty hot a few days and the bedroom needed the window open to keep cool.

The location of this hotel is so perfect. Plenty of restaurants nearby and it's right on the beach. Also the room is so big and nice. We loved the decoration and vibe.

The staff are not very helpful and the swimming pool wasn't clean enough. We arrived at the hotel early, the reception guy didn't welcome us in a nice way and didn't provide any information unless we come and ask, which is unusual! Also, we have requested early check-in at 3pm and it was confirmed, however, we didn't receive the room until after 4pm. We were very disappointed with the attitude and the way he was communicating with us. If the management reads this review, you may speak to him as he is representing the hotel and the first one ppl see upon arrival, he should be nice and communicate all information to ppl.

Young guy the morning I checked in was not helpful and was awful at customer service. Waiting for close to check in to get the keys, when I know the room was clean was a rip off. I asked him to call me the the room was ready, he never did. I had to go to him to remind him I was waiting. Where he then gave me the keys. It’s BS to put all that money and not get in early if it was ready. Hated him. I probably won’t go back just because of that. The place itself was great. Room 7 was awesome. Perfect location. Setting. Vista. All 5 stars. Just wished this dude was better.

The guy at check in. Front desk. He is awful. Inconsiderate and dismissive. No cups for the water. No supplies for the coffee. Did not give us the room earlier as I knew it was ready and waited till 25 min before checking 4 pm to get the keys when I knew the room was ready by 1pm.

The bed was very comfortable. I had a great night's rest. There is everything you need to cook in the kitchen as well. The pool was fabulous and you just can't beat the view of the sound with the most wonderful sunsets.

The Mountauk Soundview is a great place to stay. We have stayed here a few times now. Each room is different and has plenty of options in regards to size. We stayed in a standard studio this time and it was great for the price. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The room had a partial water view, which was great. The bathroom could be updated, but it was clean and wasn't an issue. The pool is great and the views from the hotel may he the best in town. It is one of the best places to see the sunset. Overall, you can't miss staying here

Room next door smoked the entire trip, which we could smell in the shared deck space and in room at some points.

The cottage was clean and nice. In the main bedroom, 1 of the shades were broken. In the bathroom, there was a tile near the bathtub that was lying against the wall. The staff was very helpful and nice. The view is amazing!!! The sunset are so beautiful!!

The cottage was attached to another cottage, and we could hear a baby crying. The cottage was also facing the road. There were other cottages that were not attached at all which would have been better. The pool was not heated and needs repairs inside.

amazing location, truly right on the beach with their own section fenced off which was nice to stay on and feel secure. pool looked incredibly clean although we did not try it as it was spring and the pool is not heated. front desk is not there in the evening or overnight but that did not affect us but there was some travelers that seemed to not be able to check in after 6pm or so.

Only negative I will list is the walls are very very thin. even the family next door just talking in normal voices, we could hear them word for word in our room. floors are a little squeaky
