Good location

They don’t have coffee machines in the rooms, considering they don’t offer breakfast it is a deal breaker. If you don’t offer breakfast you should at least provide coffee

The room was very clean, and the bed was VERY comfortable. The staff were great and always pleasant and helpful. Nicely situated with only a 10 to 15 minute walk up to Times Square, and for a bit of retail therapy, only 5 minutes from Macy's. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Loved it, would stay again

The only thing I could say would be that there is no kettle or coffee machine. This would be a nice touch as a cup of tea/coffee,Whichever you prefer would be nice first thing.

Great location - Macy’s is literally 200m away. Decent sized room (specified a King) - thought it would be a little bigger. Staff were very nice, very friendly. Boutique feel to the hotel,not like a big chain. Would return.

Bathroom was tiny - bath/shower combo not comfortable. No coffee making facilities in room. Huge empty refrigerator makes no sense in room taking up way too much space where a coffee machine could go. Elevators a little slow.

The prime location meant we could walk to most places. The bedroom itself was very spacious and airy with big windows and lots of light. Black out drapes worked well and the air con was great. The bed was super comfy. Lovely big walk in closet with, ironing board, and a safe. Big fridge and bottled water provided on daily basis. The water pressure was good for a shower and a bath. Welcoming lobby with nice friendly staff. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay.

Found it strange that there wasn’t a coffee machine in our room or lobby. It was frustrating, not to mention expensive, having to find a coffee shop each day, especially if we had an early start. We’ve stayed in the most basic of hotels before and had coffee and tea provided, so this came as quite a surprise. The bathroom was tiny! The toilet is literally right against the wall and bath, so it’s quite uncomfortable to manoeuvre and we are just average size people! It was very noisy with emergency vehicle sirens all through the night. That could be down to the age of the building or our rooms proximity to a main road. We’ve been to NYC before and stayed a few blocks away and didn’t have a problem with street noise, but that was a modern building.

Hotel lobby smelt amazing, staff were very attentive. Room was large, very stylish, comfortable and very clean. View from the window of the Empire State Building which was in the street behind the hotel. I loved the huge bay window, and could open 4 of the 5 windows and listen to the New York City noise, great sounds to wake up to! Air-con worked well, easy to use. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels replenished daily, plus compliamentary bottles of water. TV, towel robes, walk-in wardrobe, safe, fridge, hairdryer. The room decor was stylish and our time in the room, was very pleasant. Excellent position to visit New York. Lots of places in walking distance. Subway, end of the street. Hotel between 5th and 6th Avenue, who could want more? Penn Station couple of streets away - walk with suitcases possible and Air-train to Airport was good.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room. (Should have packed a travel kettle and tea bags!) Hadn't expected to get breakfast as we knew there would be lots of places to eat in the area. That being said, the hotel informed us that their new restaurant will be opening fairly soon, which should be excellent addition to the hotel. Lift and hot water sometimes a bit slow, but we shouldn't always need to be in such a rush anyway. Sadly, there are homeless people sleeping on the streets in the area, and waking up in a city centre is where we do see people with no resources of their own, waking up like us. Area didn't feel unsafe or threatening and we walked to bars and restaurants fairly late at night without issue.

We used to live in NYC and have visited several times since moving away. This may be our favorite hotel and favorite travel experience so far. We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is conveniently located, with a subway station and a fantastic coffee shop (Angelina's) just steps away. We were just a couple of blocks away from the restaurants and shopping of Ktown but the hotel itself is on a relatively quiet street. The property is charming, the rooms are well-appointed (the beds and pillows were very comfortable) and are serviced daily. The staff is warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We can't wait to be back!

Staff was unbelievable and beyond friendly. The hotel is actually quite beautiful. Rooms were clean and perfect. Location is amazing.

Some coffee in the rooms or even the hotel would be nice. I understand no food. That's ok. But i think coffee is doable. Even if it’s I'm the lobby or something.

Location is good, room is comfortable and spacious for New York standards. The hotel overall is good and well kept. I would check your intentions and places you want to visit. Although well located, it is more southern midtown, so you need to have a good walk to some of the main attractions.

Every single night, the noise of trash collection trucks was terrible. Too much noise. The whole night the sound of trucks accelerating, bangs of trash cans was nearly unbearable. This is really something to consider when booking this hotel. You will never have a good night of sleep. It is impossible with that much noise. And the windows have no good sound isolation. Really bad.

The hotel was very nice. The location was perfect. Close to lots of landmarks. Subway just at the end of the street, also another one a couple of blocks in the other direction. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice burger restaurant, coffee and cakes, and Irish bar directly opposite.

Noise. We expected the sounds of the city but there were also noises from A/C units on other buildings. However, after the first night it didn't bother us too much. Room didn't have a view but wasn't an issue as we didn't spend long in the room anyway. No coffee in rooms but places open around 08.00 and wasn't any trouble walking up the street to get one.

The hotel was classy, in an easy and great location. Comfortable beds, clean room. Helpful front desk staff. Lots of food nearby and coffee. Subway entrance on the block, little french bakery with great coffee across the street, startbucks reserve in the empire state building that is less than a block away, a toast food buffet that was awesome and easy walking distance Grand and Penn station.

I would have loved access to cold and hot water in the lobby area. Also a suggestion of food near. There is so much! With our limited time a few pointers would have helped. And there is one front desk staff, so they were often really busy, and we couldn't ask for pointers.
