Great, stylish, hotel, with clean rooms (and wonderful views on the upper levels) and comfortable beds, vibrating the good, old NYC days! Very nice staff and everything in walking distance, including shops, restaurants, jazz clubs (Birdland Jazz Club, among many others), musicals, and subways. I extended my stay :-). Would love to stay again!

The bathrooms are smaller than expected; some of the lamps in the rooms could have more atmospheric (yellow) lights in them! Bright white does not do it for me. And probably not for others either.

Good location

They don’t have coffee machines in the rooms, considering they don’t offer breakfast it is a deal breaker. If you don’t offer breakfast you should at least provide coffee

Great, clean, spacious King sized room with a great view of the city. Fantastic daily room service, with bottles of water each day. Friendly staff.

Upon checkout, we left our bags at the hotel. They were left in the lobby (as opposed to a secure room). This shouldn't really be happening.

The room was very clean, and the bed was VERY comfortable. The staff were great and always pleasant and helpful. Nicely situated with only a 10 to 15 minute walk up to Times Square, and for a bit of retail therapy, only 5 minutes from Macy's. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Loved it, would stay again

The only thing I could say would be that there is no kettle or coffee machine. This would be a nice touch as a cup of tea/coffee,Whichever you prefer would be nice first thing.

Great location - Macy’s is literally 200m away. Decent sized room (specified a King) - thought it would be a little bigger. Staff were very nice, very friendly. Boutique feel to the hotel,not like a big chain. Would return.

Bathroom was tiny - bath/shower combo not comfortable. No coffee making facilities in room. Huge empty refrigerator makes no sense in room taking up way too much space where a coffee machine could go. Elevators a little slow.

When booking I read mixed reviews, however on my stay I had no problems, the room was a reasonable size for New York, but was very clean and had comfortable beds , lots of water that was replenished daily it’s a nice boutique hotel ,staff were pleasant , yes there is no bar or restaurant but they’re are plenty around as it’s in a great location with a lovely coffee shop and Roof top bar called the Monarch ( which has great views of the empire state buildings.) both opposite the hotel . On the whole I enjoyed my stay here

The $600 deposit kept on the card which as there was nothing you could charge to the room ( apart from phone ) was unsure why so high.

The prime location meant we could walk to most places. The bedroom itself was very spacious and airy with big windows and lots of light. Black out drapes worked well and the air con was great. The bed was super comfy. Lovely big walk in closet with, ironing board, and a safe. Big fridge and bottled water provided on daily basis. The water pressure was good for a shower and a bath. Welcoming lobby with nice friendly staff. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay.

Found it strange that there wasn’t a coffee machine in our room or lobby. It was frustrating, not to mention expensive, having to find a coffee shop each day, especially if we had an early start. We’ve stayed in the most basic of hotels before and had coffee and tea provided, so this came as quite a surprise. The bathroom was tiny! The toilet is literally right against the wall and bath, so it’s quite uncomfortable to manoeuvre and we are just average size people! It was very noisy with emergency vehicle sirens all through the night. That could be down to the age of the building or our rooms proximity to a main road. We’ve been to NYC before and stayed a few blocks away and didn’t have a problem with street noise, but that was a modern building.

I had a top tier experience staying at The Gregorian. I was there from NC, solo. I arrived a few hours before check-in but the staff was amazing in storing my luggage for me while I left to go see a show. Upon my return, I got my luggage, checked in and went to my room. I loved my room! It was spacious enough for me with a nice view. My room was clean and quaint. I really loved the decor as well. Simple black and white. Also enjoyed the little table and chair in my room and the mini fridge! I was in and out quite a bit seeing shows but every time I came back in, someone always greeted me and told me to have a good night, etc. I will definitely stay at The Gregorian again! I felt safe, welcomed and the bed was so comfortable so I slept well too!

Friendly, helpful staff. Good central position with great subway links. A bakery and a bar (with delicious burgers) right across the street. Really comfy beds. Our room looked onto an internal well, but we didn't care about a view and it was nice and quiet, especially for the location. We weren't overlooked. We picked a room with a king and a sofabed as it was bigger and cheaper than rooms with two queens.

We wished there was a kettle or coffee machine in the room, although the bakery was open long hours and did tea too, so we got used to popping over the road instead. Sofabed mattress was a bit soft.

I absolutely enjoyed our stay at The Gregorian! Every member of the staff was professional, and genuinely helpful. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with convenient access to multiple public transportation options, making it easy to get around the city. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was large and spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and an abundance of natural light that made the space feel bright and inviting. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay at The Gregorian again!
