This was an older roadside motel but the owners have done many things to spruce it up nicely. While the building itself does have older 60's style bones the room was comfortable with all the amenities you would expect (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, WiFi, cable TV, AC). Shower had plenty of hot water and great flow. The rooms have been painted with a more modern look and the floors were wood parquet and not dated carpet. All the updates made it much nicer than one would expect from an older motel. Large area to walk the dog complete with waste containers. Plenty of security cameras and a well-lit parking area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

The cleanliness of the rooms actually the rooms are being updated with wood floors fresh paint big screen TVs the location is just outside of Black Mountain there is a CVS a 3-minute walk away from the motel but what I like the most and what brought me back was apparently there was a change in management Kurnal is the new manager and he is the reason I came back. He is very professional, polite.and he made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. My guest room attendant also checked on me every morning with extra towels and such. This motel is such a rare find I highly recommend giving it a try. Of course I will be back, thank you very much

I was in town for a wedding being held in Asheville and this motel was super close to the wedding venue. I loved the vibes here. It was super affordable and the room was so comfortable.

I was hanging out with friends the whole weekend. So I actually didn't spend a whole lot of time in my room. I was mostly out and about in Asheville and the surrounding area. When it comes to this room, there isn't anything I can say that's bad about it.

Very clean older style motel. The bed was very comfortable with new sheets. Old wall air conditioner, but worked to cool the room. Best part is the restaurant across the street called Biscuits. They have amazing food!!! Stay at Acorns and walk across the street and have Breakfast with the wonderful staff at Biscuits!! I recommend the biscuit with egg and cheese and a homemade waffle!!

Could use some updating, but very clean!!

The motel has been recently renovated and the rooms were very nice. The parking lot is well lit and the TV in the room was like new and had an incredible selection of channels. Would stay here again.

The only complaint I have is that the walls are a little thin and we could hear our next door neighbors. Other than that everything was good.

Great location. Housekeepers were helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and the entire place was pretty quiet. Manager seemed like a very knowledgeable and down to earth individual. He was able to answer any questions or concerns we had.

When I was there the drink machines by the ice didn't work which was a let down. But the gas station wasn't far so it was OK. And there was a note saying only quarters. No card reader. But other than that it was great

For the price, exceeded expectations. Awesme, responsive hotel owner. I reccomend to anyone looking for inexpensive value! I will stay there again!

If it were pricier, I would have expected more. I feel we paid for a basic motel and was pleased with our experience. Exceeded expectations.

The staff was quick and friendly! QUITE!!!! Slept well! Clean as a pin!!! Great and simple location to everything!

The room was a little empty and cold feeling for to it being so BIG! Is that technically a complaint?!?

The cable television guides were challenging to navigate. Appeared a bit illogical; was difficult to find local major networks. Printed guide in room was confusing to say the least.

It was near downtown. The rooms were updated and newly painted. They were well equipped and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean.

The calking in the showers had a little mold.
