The hotel was an older hotel that had been kept up well. The room was large and had everything that I needed including a small fridge which held all I needed for my stay. Complimentary simple breakfast was available. Washer and dryer were available. Beds were comfortable and complimentary soaps and shampoos were of good quality with great high ply cotton towels. Location was quiet and easily accessible to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other areas of Asheville without using the Interstate.

I would have liked an arm chair in the room. I made do and rearranged the two small table chairs within the room to serve my needs. No big deal and hardly worth mentioning! They were short staffed and asked that clients come to the office to get extra needs rather call the front desk. I didn't really find this to be a problem either. I mention it because it might be an inconvenience to some.

We had stayed here before and was treating extremely well so it was a no brainer to book again. The location was perfect for our needs and close to what we wanted to do. The staff at this location are great and make the stay worthwhile. We will be back again in the near future.

Understand that staffing is tight everywhere but we were hoping to use the pool but it was closed due to cleaning. There was a kid's pool party the day before requiring the pool needing cleaning afterwards but no one was available on the weekend to do the work.

We arrived late about 10pm. Had no problem checking in, Jay was there and took care of things quickly. We did not use the breakfast but it was available in the lobby area and looked fairly well stocked. People were eating at the tables. Easy to get to, right off I-40. Price was reasonable for the location. No problem with pets, several grassy areas to walk them. It's an older style motel but has been kept up vey well. The beds were great! Would stay here again.

The facilities were amazing and very well kept ground area with a vacation feel to it. The rooms were very clean and we could tell immediately upon opening our room door and the beds were super comfortable. There was a laundry facility on the property for guests to use and there were stocked pantry items that any guest could purchase. The staff was very helpful and very pleasant to speak with. They provided a continental breakfast provided to all guest although we did not partake in the breakfast.

It’s in a great location to Asheville downtown, there’s pet friendly things like a dog area and the staff were great. Room was very clean and everything was in order.

Room smelled like it was a smoking room not too long ago or perhaps the last guest smoked in it. The breakfast is just some packaged pastries and some coffee, but what do you expect really.

I really was only there for a place to lay my head. I didn't explore the facility to much but what I did see was clean. The staff that I met was friendly and helpful. I feel alittle over priced but I would stay there again.

I fell it was a little over priced for what it was. Not a five star hotel but was very nice for a smaller hotel. Would stay again.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. I love the location easily about 10 minutes straight to downtown and I honestly love the quality for your buck. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfy. The room is perfect for travel!

The decorations are not modern and some equipment in the bathroom such as towel rack was broken

I liked the service the best it was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too.

There is only one suggestion that I have. Too much light crept into the room and as someone who likes it completely dark it was a little bothersome. Particularly, after closing the blinds the light still crept up through the top. If there was a way to block the light up top I would have been fully satisfied with my stay.

the layout of the property was great. there is a river and a creek both right behind the motel, they are beautiful. People were even taking tubes and floating on the river which was slow moving at the time. we felt like we had space to ourselves. the pool was nice too. not huge in size but we had a great time swimming with the pool to ourselves.

the tv in our room was a little out dated other than that it was great.

I loved that there aren't extra fees to bring your pets along and the staff was very kind.

The bathrooms needed to be updated and the beds could have been softer. I think some people were living in this place and also lots of homeless people were around all the time!
