The hotel was WONDERFUL. We paid a very reasonable price so we were wondering how the quality of the stay would be but it was excellent . The hotel is very clean , the staff are nice and professional and the location is perfect. I have to brag on the cleanliness . I actually clean homes for a living so I’m pretty hyper vigilant when it comes to cleanliness . This hotel was pretty close to spotless . Our room was wonderful and good smells throughout the entire hotel. No stained carpets or scuffed walls . The location is pristine and right off the interstate . We were no more than a 5-10 minute drive to all the things we wanted to do. There were plenty of restaurants and breweries within a 4 minute straight shot drive . The staff was extremely pleasant from check in to check out . Customer service is really important and something that lacks these days so it was good to see happy employees .

My only complaint which wasn’t a huge deal was that when we went to use the fire pit they were out of propane . I feel that if they have a fire pit to offer customers then they should have a spare tank on hand .

The cleanliness, well supplied breakfast, comfortable rooms were all great as we had hoped. It was the staff who made the experience even more positive for us right from receptionist at checkin who warmly welcomed us with great efficiency and friendliness and helped when we asked about local restaurants. The house staff were friendly in acknowledging us with a greeting and smile. The Manager especially circulated at breakfast to greet and ensure that all guests were taken care of and then again spoke when we happened to be in the elevator together. Top marks for this establishment which we recommend. Thank you.

Finally, a hotel with soundproofing in the walls. Usually there is none and you can hear everything. I walked out into the hallway around 10:30pm and could hear people talking from their rooms. However, when I was back in the room I couldn't hear them. Wonderful.

Beds had some hairs and crumbs. That's a bit unsettling! Shower could use some new caulk and a different faucet set. Had to really yank up on the pull to get it to switch to the shower head. Pricing was dramatically lower than we paid on a competitor's website. That was disappointing to discover after we booked...

It survived Hurricane Helene flooding. The location and the value were good. Although we didn't use it, the indoor pool is a great feature. The snack bar and offering at breakfast are nice guest services.

Waited for 15 minutes at the front desk to ask a question on Sunday before heading out to lunch and never saw any staff at the front desk. Even one of the housekeepers helped to look around for a reception person for me but couldn't find anyone. The room was poorly decorated and cramped and the two queens were terribly uncomfortable.

Loved that the property was away from the center of town but only a 5 minute drive to it. We utilized the indoor pool daily. The staff were all super helpful. When we checked in Tyler was so nice and helped get things straightened out for us. The breakfast was pretty typical. Room was clean and had a decent amount of space that we were able to comfortably fit a pack n play as a crib for our youngest.

The description and pictures of your “booking” are a little deceiving. We thought we were booking a king suite with a tub since that’s what it said and showed but when we got to our room there was not a tub. We had to get our room switched because we have toddlers and a tub is essential. Tyler had to physically check every room for a tub(which he is an absolute rockstar for doing and he did it with a smile and was so kind about it). So I definitely think the management needs to add that info about the rooms so their staff doesn’t have to physically check for things. We ended up in a smaller bed than we needed but we made it work as best we could.

The location was perfect! Close to downtown with out the downtown prices. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which was perfect for our family! The hotel was clean, friendly staff, beds were super comfy, and the pillows were like sleeping on clouds. The shower was hot with great water pressure! I don't usually write long reviews or reviews at all for that matter but I felt compelled to write a review for this hotel. It was amazing and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone!

The only complaint I have, which in all honestly might not even be the hotels fault, was the internet. There is a smart TV in the room and I had problems. Couldnt get local channels or any other streaming service to work. I thought it was something wrong with our TV. The next day several people had the same complaint. I didnt travel 400 + miles to watch tv anyway so it was not a huge deal but for someone who may have needed to work on a laptop may have experienced issues.

The facility and room was very clean. Check in and check out was very easy. Breakfast had a variety of options which met my needs. I liked the parking in a more secure location, but it was a little tight when all the spots were filled. It was very close to all the highway accesses and local attractions. Restaurants were within a few miles of driving in any direction.

The room did have a slight musty/moldy smell which is not uncommon in this more humid environment. The person upstairs sounded like a walking elephant which was disturbing late at night and early morning. Not having carpet probably added to the problem, although I liked not having carpet on the floor. The mattress either needs to be flipped more often or changed as it was breaking down creating a "pit" to sleep in.

This booking was a great value.

With temps in the mid 90’s during the day and hiking. It was frustrated to come into the room with the air conditioner not working. We thought maybe it was trying to catch up and may take awhile. The next day I asked the desk about a new unit. That afternoon the owner knocked on the door and removed a new unit from the crate and installed it. Worked like a charm!

Room was immaculate and very cozy. A little on the small size but very suitable for one person. A coffee service was provided and coffee pot was also immaculate. The towels were large and plush and bathroom spacious and well lit.

Had trouble with WiFi and finally had to call desk to be informed the network for hotel guests was not working. I was given an alternate network and it was deemed insecure, so I limited my time on my iPhone and iPad. Minor Inconvenience.

Right off of I-40, and ten minutes to downtown, a very convenient and comfortable place to stay for the weekend. Staff was very kind, and the room was clean. The bed was as soft as a cloud.

There were no sheets provided for the sofa bed. I didn't specifically request any, so that may be on me, but there were enough layers to the bedsheets, and so many pillows, that we didn't even bother to ask once we settled in.
