I liked the location, the hotel was very clean.
The staff needs to be more friendlier, and waiting to have a simple question answered is rude when other staff members weren't occupied. Hot breakfast should be served, pictures online show they had hot breakfast, and an onsite restaurant was advertised, but that wasn't the case. It's a selling point, but lies, I was not impressed. The bar should be opened at set times, not when the person feels like coming in. No toiletries were provided..they also ran out basic necessities like food products AKA snacks and water etc. The bathroom door was off track and made it ridiculous to close. Should just be replaced with a real door or a barn door, that would help.

The location is great, the shower pressure was good, heating good.
The bathroom door, which is a barn, type, sliding door, came off the track and had to be fixed. The next day, it did it again. Also, there is a $15 “destination fee”, which includes using the Wi-Fi, parking lot, Shuttle, and indoor pool. I didn’t use any of this and should not have been charged the $15.

Room was nice and spacious.
I paid for early arrival. The room wasn't clean. Was in a wedding, I had to get ready for the wedding in my vehicle. Couldn't go to the front desk because I was pressed for time. I did call the front desk later to voice my complaint. The clerk was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. They switched me to another room that was on the first floor, which was very convenient.

Location was nice and right off the interstate. Easy to get to. Very elegant looking. Staff was nice and pleasant to talk to.
Fitness center was smaller than expected for that size hotel. There were only 2 machines and then for the weight set only one set of 35lb dumbbells. Didn’t like that there was a price of $9.99 each for the breakfast. Would have liked to seen that included with my stay

The friendly staff members they were helpful and they're kindness. It was very quiet and the beds were comfortable.
I didn't get a chance to go swimming. They're pool was just cleaned and it was going to take a week before anyone was allowed to go swimming.

The rooms were spacious and well maintained for an older facility. The staff were so nice and accommodating to my handicap father. I can't say enough about how they just made us feel like family
They mowers at 8am when we were trying to sleep in

The staff was kind. I made a reservation for a room with 2 beds. When I checked in, initially, I was given a room with only 1 bed, so I had to change rooms. Other than the initial mixup, everything else was pretty good. Upon notifying the staff, the were pleasant and made the correction immediately.
It would have been nice for the stay to have included a continental breakfast or complimentary brunch, but for the price, I won't complain. I wasn't crazy about the $100 deposit for room damages & even more disappointed that the return of the deposit isn't immediate.

Reviews on this location were pretty accurate. This is a large property obviously built for grander times with conferences and big events in mind. Not sure what led to the decline of the big plans, but didn't look like too many of the meeting rooms, ball rooms, fancy gathering areas were still in use. That said, the price was right, the location was convenient to I-85 & the Durham Freeway and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a king room which was very spacious with a nice bed. The AC, TV, & WiFi worked well. The bathroom was spacious with an extra sink area--water pressure in the shower was great. All was nice and clean. If you're looking for fancy this might not be the place for you as some of the wooden furniture in the room and woodwork in the hallways was showing wear. All said and done, for the price we paid on a busy university weekend I'd stay there again as it was clean and comfortable.
The iron in our room didn't work and the fellow at the desk seemed unconcerned about it.

Perfect location, amenities, and price for a quick needed place to rest after a sports event before hitting the road to return home. Very large hotel and was able to book last minute at a very fair price.
Nothing to not like. Depending on need and purpose it is just fine. Not most updated rooms, bathrooms, but comfortable and clean and served its purpose. Didn't have any meals or use other amenities to comment on.
