Location is an amazing place to visit . The cantina had very good food we really enjoyed our meal.

Very limited on places to eat went down to the lodge restaurant about 30 minutes after they opened and there was a line out the front door. Went back to the room got packed and loaded up to go went back to the restaurant and there was still a line out the front door. Went down to the general store thought might find a biscuit or a donut. Nope! Guy said they had some breakfast at the gas station😂 They had a menu with a sausage or bacon egg and cheese for $5 then proceeded to put a store bought prepackaged breakfast sandwich in the microwave. I respectfully declined 😥

We LOVE Fontana Village! The pool is a huge hit as well as mini golf. The restaurants and general store provide all you need for a few days. A great place for a getaway weekend with young kids. This was our second time visiting in 3 years and the improvements they have made recently are great. Continues to be an incredible mountain gem that we hope to continue to visit yearly.

We stayed in Garden A, which is not yet updated (the updates in the Lodge and other areas are incredible!). We entered the room to an incredibly musty smell. The room was very clean but just had a feeling of moisture to it and we couldn't identify any source. However, we don't go to Fontana Village for the room. And the room was by no means a deal breaker and we suspect the Garden rooms will be renovated in the near future. Would also recommend that the resort consider labeling the EV charging area as designated for EVs. We had trouble getting a spot to charge because non-EVs were parked there too.

It is an older property with dated furnishings, but it was clean and quaint. The restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced. The internet worked pretty well, and I rather enjoyed the lack of cell signal. The WIFI was there if I really needed to connect. We sat on the small lanai with a beautiful view drinking wine we got from the on-site store. It was as perfect as you can get.

Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. Beautiful view of the mountains from the restaurant.

My only complaint is our room didn't have a microwave. We bought stuff from the general store because we got there kinda late and everything was already closed and we had to use the microwave at the store because the room didn't have one.

Loved location and layout of the resort

We had tile flooring in the room throughout and it made it very chilly in the room and damp feeling, it felt damp in the bedding and towels but I think it’s the area and the temp in the room but I didn’t sleep very comfortable.

Location to trails, friendly staff, 24/7 general store

Currently under renovation- main building closed except for the restaurant, some access paths closed around construction areas.

Location and layout is great. I was happy to get an entire cottage to myself since I had a truck and trailer.

No hot water for a shower in the morning after a one-night stay.
