Excellent service as always, whenever I come to lincolnton, nc I stay at the Hampton Inn.

I had two phones that had low power, I left my chargers and went to the nearest Walmart to buy them. When I returned to my room I noticed I had two USB ports that I could use, however neither port worked. The young lady at the front desk came to my room to see if she could troubleshoot and noticed one port was broken and the other just didn't work. She ultimately plugged the charger into the TV but it would have take 8 hrs to fully charge. Buy this time it was someone else working the front desk and he finally found me a wall charger and I was able to charge both phones.

The hotel was clean, the staff was pleasant and my room was clean. While I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast, it did smell great.

When I called the hotel to get information, I asked who I was speaking with as I like to address the person I'm speaking to by name, the gentleman wouldn't give me his name right away, as he continued the conversation , I asked again, and still he continued the conversation without giving me his name. While he was polite, he finally gave me his name. I just thought that was odd, that I had to ask more than once. Overall, my stay was pleasant and I would stay again.

The location was wonderful, tucked off a highway for easy access to shops and food but also far enough back to not have the noise of traffic be a bother. Parking lot had adequate space. Lobby lounge decorated nicely.

I only have 2 things I didn’t like. First, their blankets were very thin. I realized that’s likely because it is alot warmer here than my home state up north. My husband and I like to have a cold room and snuggle under blankets so the blankets were just too thin for us. Secondly I wish the pool was a bit bigger/deeper. That’s just a personal preference as well

The cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff.

I only had cash on my person and didn’t have the option to pay with cash. I was asked for a card for authorization purposes and was told that said card would NOT be charged that we could pay cash on the way out during the check out process. Upon checking out we were informed our card had been charged despite us requesting it not be. Not angry or making a formal complaint at all, we were able to make it work. Just didn’t understand the difference in information from two different staff members. Thank you!

I loved the location, it was very clean and I liked how the staff makes you feel welcomed and appreciated by checking in with me to make sure everything was going well.

I loved the location, and the room, except I prefer the sliding glass door in the shower vs the curtain. Also the toilets are too low to the ground, they remind me of my granddaughters daycare. Hopefully they can fix that.

The property was well-maintained. The pool area was beautiful and breakfast was well stocked and delicious. Very convenient to have breakfast right there at the hotel.

Our room could’ve been a little cleaner. There was hair on the shower curtain that was not from us. There was also toenail clippings on the carpet. The front desk staff was efficient, but not at all friendly.

The breakfast was good and hot! There was more than usual to choose from! The pool was clean, the stay was comfortable!

We had to change door key’s multiple times. Then I found out if the key touched your applet watch or cell phone it deletes it! Wow

Good location for what i needed, Breakfast was good but they ran out of bacon. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Ran out of bacon at breakfast, although it was good location for what i needed i felt it was a little overpriced for the overall location. Maybe priced high since it is the best hotel in the city.

The comfortable room. Just wish it would have been a tad bit quieter we were on 2nd floor and we had a family with small children on the 3rd floor they were jumping and running up and down on the floor woke us up very very early 2 mornings in a row...

When having a family of kids place them better so maybe they are above one another so they can wake up early like they their kids do ...

It was clean, the breakfast was good both morning I was there, and the bed was so comfy.

The pillows weren’t the best but I’m picky about pillows. Also the shower pressure wasn’t the best but other than that was a great stay.
