I loved the mountain view. Location was great very easy to get to all shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating. Our microwave didn't work i called the front desk and they were spot on. It was only a few minutes they had us another one. We enjoyed our stay it was our 2nd time staying there.

Well I can't say I didn't like it so much it's a little older, not high end but very quaint.

I had a very nice stay. The room was cozy and comfortable. King bed very comfy, and everything was good. Castlewood is a very small motel, but it is a quaint and comfortable place, with rockers outside the room to relax in the evening, and a small swimming pool, nice and clean. The hosts are a family who live on site, and they will tend to your every need. I definitely will stay here again next time I visit Maggie Valley!

The location makes this walkable for most things in Maggie Valley. It’s safe and comfortable. They allow our pets which is a major plus. The staff is amazing, super sweet and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say. I also found out the owners are from the next town over from us in Tennessee, so I appreciate supporting my neighbors!

Nothing! It’s quaint and quiet. Very peaceful.

There was an issue with booking on our part, not the motels problem. Without going into details the manager helped us out and took cate of the problem. He did not have to, being the fault was mine. Very good staff, quiet, and clean. Location is on west end of town just past the fairground, so keep that in mind if you need on east end. Will stay there again and recommend.

Shower head didn't move. After a long day of dirt biking I got into the shower and set it on message. Wanted to lean against wall and let water beat on my back. The shower head would not angle to do that. Only sprayed into middle of shower. May have just been my room that was that way.

Made reservations had 2nd floor. The lady that checked me in. She went up and beyond to get me a bottom floor. Recently had hip replacement stairs hard to do. She was excellent loved her. Hope things work out for her. Rooms very clean, seen no bugs always plus. Was pet friendly we smoked but did not mind going outside. Had rocking chairs at every room.

Great location to everything in Maggie Valley. 10 minutes from the blue ridge parkway, lots of cool shops right next door within walking distance. Rooms were decent for the price, very quiet area with lots to do!

The driveway in and out was pretty steep causing my vehicle to bottom out every time I entered or exited. Small parking lot and half of it is reserved for the mini golf business.

The location was excellent and the lady that was at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating my husband who is a stroke survivor. Very relaxing stay for us.

Need to mark parking spaces for the inn. We sat and watched putt putt guests park in spaces for the Inn.

That they were updating the rooms with really nice things. I look forward to coming back when they have finished.

Pool closed but the host/property manager took the time to explain some of the changes and also share some suggestions.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, great location.

Had an electrical problem on the wall the TV was on. A jacuzzi was in the room, (not a perk for us) no light, no tv. The manager tried to repair it when he came back from an errand. He couldn’t. My husband is an electrician and made the quick fix repairs needed. He showed the manager how to fix it should it happen again.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It is showing some age, but overall to stay was nice. The cleaning lady was very pleasant and offered to make the bed.
