Once inside the lobby everything was wonderful! Very clean, friendly staff. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. A “10”.

Outside the building the parking lot was littered with trash and debris. Parking was not sufficient as there were dumpsters overflowing with trash and mattresses on the side of the building which took up remaining spaces. See pics below. Traffic noise started very early so certainly couldn’t rest on a weekday. Did not feel safe. We returned from our concert around 10:20 pm and my husband was approached by someone asking for money. It was scary. Several homeless hanging around in parking lot during daylight hours.

Good choices for breakfast. The little things made all the difference. Machine snacks were reasonably priced, and free water was available to fill water bottles instead of charging us $3.00. The staff was friendly and professional. In the past, I stayed at another property on South Saunders Street; the difference was like night and day.

The entrance to the property isn't easy to see from South Saunders Street. Uber drivers had difficulty locating it because it's hidden behind a large Sam's Club sign.

I don't think this is a big deal but I do at least want to keep in mind that after checking the mattresses I found things that are most likely coffee stains on the mattress, but I do think it's worth looking into to make sure bed bugs are not a problem. However nothing else was problematic

What I liked most was the location, it was super close to everything and at the nearby gas station there was a Mexican food truck 10/10

The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel indicated a non-smoking room, and the room smelled very strongly of weed. Even in the hallway, the smell was horrible. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Excellent place, fantastic people. This really was home away from home. Very accommodating. I usually do 4 star and above, had to do this because last min and only availability. But this was better than my Marriott and Hilton experience as well. Very happy people working here.

It’s very close to every where I was going. The staff is always super kind. Rooms are clean.

The only thing I didn’t like was the freezer part in the fridge didn’t stay frozen and the fridge itself wasn’t that cold, and the key took a couple times to actually work. Both super easy things to fix though.

The breakfast was limited because of COVID policies- Usually, the hotel serves fresh cooked breakfast items- eggs-bacon, etc. However, they did a great job with what was offered- the coffee was fresh and hot, and good fresh fruit and yogurt were a plus! They provided ready-made microwavable egg/sausage biscuits/croissants and make-your-own waffles- The dining area was scrupulously clean!

The room was hard to keep at a comfortable temperature- a common problem with hotel AC/heating units-

We had a nice room with comfortable bed. Basic breakfast but it filled us up OK. It has free parking and is in a great location for getting the free bus service straight into the Raleigh Capitol area

Nothing to complain about. Not much by way of eateries in the vicinity, just a reasonable Mexican restaurant.

It was right off the highway but yet quiet! I loved the jacuzzi tub! The bed was comfortable as well!

The only thing that I didn't like was that the remote to the tv wouldn't work but then we were able to fix batteries for it to work most of the time.

Clean room, strong shower, quiet and close to everything, expressways, downtown, restaurants.

Breakfast options could have been better.
