The double swinging door near our room malfunctioned, requiring a sturdy jerk to open from outside. The latchcaught my right elbow and caused a bruse and a 1.5" cut that bled. Fortunately I travel with bandaids.

Location couldn't of been better from PNC Arena. Friendly customer service at check in desk.

Update your first aid kit. I fell at the arena and busted my chin open. All yall had was bandaid. No neosporin or something to help clean my wound.

The hotel was very clean. The front desk staff was highly professional. The room was fine. We had issues with the outlet by the sink, and we weren't able to get proper contact with the outlet when using the blow dryer. The lamp by the bed had no option to use the USB charger- there was no connection - just a hole. The outlet on the lamp was loose and wouldn't hold the plug. The TV service was poor, lots of static, and the TV was tiny for the space. The breakfast was very lackluster. Powdered eggs, bacon was super salty, and the pancakes were cold. There were apples, apple juice, and orange juice from concentrate. Plain bagels, white bread, cereal, coffee, butter, cream cheese, jam. No bananas, yogurt, or muffins. I don't terribly mind those things. However, I was very concerned about the lack of security. There were numerous entrances on each side of the hotel, and none were locked. I was a bit fearful being in the downtown area without proper security.

Room was very clean, and the front desk staff was professional. Good water pressure, nice linens, plenty of towels, toiletries, and comfy bed and pillows.

It was very nice. Breakfast could be better, more fruit. The coffee needs an upgrade. It was VERY weak. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The fireplace is lovely, the elevator I highly suggest an upgrade i felt like I was in the utilility elevator. We loved having a sliding door and balcony. We will stay there again since we are in the area often. Just a note. last trip a month ago we stayed at the Hyatt by the airport. TERRIBLE dirty, worn out, and eggos waffles!! Never again. The Ramada was much better!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the facility. Other reviews said it was dated and old, but we didn’t share that opinion. The rooms were decorated with modern designs, and was very pleasing to the eye. The complimentary breakfast buffet was beyond our expectation as well. Not your typical “continental breakfast”, since there was eggs, sausage, pancakes, grits, bagels, toast, hot/cold cereals, yogurt, various flavors of juice, coffee, etc.

Two things, the entry doors at the right side middle/back of the facility were tagged as being key card access only, but they could be pulled open with zero effort. Security risk for guests that needs addressed. Second, The room mattresses were worn/sagging on the sides by the nightstand. Yes, it’s a common issue among high use hotels, and these weren’t TERRIBLY sagged, but there was a noticeable indention compared to the outside sleeping positions on both queen beds.

You absolutely cannot beat the location. Seemed to be a 10-15 minute drive to most things, and more importantly, it is only a 15 minute walk to Lenovo Center. There isn't a dedicated crosswalk, but they usually have cops directing traffic before/after events. Of course, if you're doing anything else, you will need to hop into a car, since there isn't much else other than stadiums within walking distance. Also, for such a large 2-floor property, it was pretty quiet and parking was super convenient

Just minor gripes, slow sink drain, previous occupant's towel was still hanging up, stuff like that

For the most part, it is an excellent facility: spacious, comfortable room, beautiful reception and breakfast area; great pool. There was a hard-working, friendly and accomodating, staff of hispanic workers without whom the place would have to close.

It was a really dumb architect who designed this building, with the sole elevator to the second floor in the farthest corner of the building from the reception desk. Then, add the fact that the second story button does not always work. A kind staff member showed me how to better my chances by pushing only at the far right-hand, lower, edge of the button.

The location was fabulous!! Right down the road from the PNC Arena, I was able to drop my kids off and pick them up easily. It was conveniently located to shops and stores as well. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice balcony view of the swimming pool. The continental breakfast was delicious and hot. All in all we saved so much money on not having to pay for parking at the PNC Arena or breakfast, would definitely stay again.

My only complaint is there seemed to only be one elevator to the second floor and it was small and went down to the basement where the cleaning area was for housekeeping, which was how you had to go out to the parking lot area. Unless we just didn’t see any other elevators- it was a pretty long walk from the desk to the elevator and there were no signs pointing to where they were. If you’re fine taking stairs there were plenty of those and they were nice and carpeted areas.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and had plenty of space. This was the strangest hotel I've ever stayed at, and any complaints my group had were minor inconveniences. The cost was worth the location, but not the quality of the hotel itself.

The lighting was not great. The shower head was either broken or just a poor design. Finding our room felt like walking through a maze, which was fun for us but could be a problem for other guests. Every door we had to open to get there would slam shut, I worried that the noise bothered other people. Our room door would not fully close when it shut, and we did not realize there was an issue with it until later in the evening.

It’s an older building with good bones. The entry is nice. The breakfast area is nice. The room is nice. everything was clean. The people were friendly. There’s a pretty pool area and a nice common area for sitting with friends and chatting. It is close to the fairgrounds i.e. the Horse arena.

Adding a bit more easy to see signage for ice machines would be good. Finally found it and it was broken. No biggie. Found another pair of stairs to take us back down and the nice gentleman in the lobby gave us ice. Our daughter’s bed was quite comfortable. Our bed Would’ve been more comfortable, had someone in the past not jumped on the bed. It made It not terribly uncomfortable, but not easy to stay out of the center of the bed
