The staff was welcoming. Breakfast was superb. This is now a regular stop from our travels to and from DC with visits to family. We could drive straight through (8 hours travel time); but we know we can afford to stay at TRU and it is a beautiful, clean, and helpful place. We like having water, coffee, and snacks available, and we also appreciate the bulletin board that shares places we might like to visit in the area. I loved the room and the quiet even though there were quite a few kids staying for a baseball tournament. The person that checked me in remembered me from the week before and was super friendly.

I had to leave around 1:30a to start my drive home. When I went to check out I stood there for about 15 minutes and no one was at the desk. I left my keycards on the desk and left. I went to the gas station around the corner and realized I left something in my room. I had been gone a good twenty minutes. Drove back and no one was at the desk. Grabbed my keycards and ran back to the room to grab what I forgot. When I left for the final time there was still no one at the desk.

The staff very friendly at check-in and throughout the stay. There was some confusion through the booking site that was easily corrected with the company's customer service. Once that was fixed, check-in and getting to our room was fast and easy.

There was a strong smell in the room when we first go there. I think it was just from the room being cleaned and the room being shut off. We ran the fan for a while and it was pretty much gone after about 30-45 minutes. Not unbearable but just extreme.

The design of everything seemed like it had been well thought out. Luggage carts were sized to completely turn around in an elevator. The lobby and breakfast area were designed so that tables and chairs were integrated all over and with casual seating areas. Everything just blended in. The “breakfast wall” was ingenious so that when it was down, it blended into the lobby. Loved how easy it was to use the 24/7 snack shopping & that it highlighted local items.

The hotel was very clean and had a cool modern look. Value for the room was fair. Breakfast was nice. Staff was cool!

Just a small hiccup when we got back from dinner. Our keys didn’t work to open our door and when I asked the front desk the system said we were supposed to be in a different room on a different floor. But the front desk receptionist fixed right away. Other than that everything was great.

I liked the appearance of the hotel loby and the room. I'll be in another TRU BY HILTON in January in another city. I will be back next year several times and plan to reserve my room at this exact hotel.

I didn't like that there was just the front desk clerk to handle everything. People were calling from their rooms to get sheets, towels, etc. The front fesk clerk was overwhelmed and apologetic. She didn't lose her composure and handled it well. I thought it was horrible having her be responsible for all of that when during the day there is help. There was a line to check in. I didn't get her name, but I know she doesn't make enough money to be responsible for as much as she was last night(12/30/2023). Please consider having housekeeping in the building at all times as you do a front desk clerk. This is why my experience wasn't exceptional.

I thought the surprise of having the greeting of my name on the television was such a sweet surprise. The morning staff at the breakfast was just as pleasant as they could be. What a perfect addition to greet your guest!

I mentioned this to the gentleman at the front desk but the room over us was extremely noisy ALL NIGHT. We had to play music on our phone to drown out the noise. We thought he was a laundry room. Hard to sleep!

The property was clean, comfortable, and fun. The lobby was decorated cool, had comfy seating areas in the lobby and a pool table. There was an Outback Steakhouse and a Texas Roadhouse very close by for a nice dinner. Westridge Bar & Grill was also close by where they had live music outside on the patio on Thursday night. And the free breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again. Was not far off I-95.

overall everything was above expectations including the breakfast, parking was not too far from loby and there was a restaurant within walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. rooms were clean and included a tub

only problem was the price i was billed was not the price i was told by front desk.. My Veteran status was shown and the receptionist took 10% off the booking price..117.34 reduced to $105.61.. I have already questioned this with CC

The breakfast was okay, but should have been more upscale based on the rate of the room! Everyone does not like turkey sausages, which left you no other meat to eat for breakfast. The bagel and bread selections was good. The room was great, the layout was updated with the long bench under the TV for sitting, luggage and other personal items. No space went unused. Also, the welcome bottles of water was a great surprise, as I am heavy water drinker.

The breakfast.....did not match the price of the room rate.
