I liked everything here it's a true find, starting with easy check in. They just send you a code to your door. Before I got here a stayed at a condo I wish there were more of these motels the condo was a 1 in ratings compared to a 10 here. If your around Saluda or even Ashville this is the place to stay. It's a well stocked room and very comfortable. From the coffee to even makeup remover it's great. I found gold in the smoky mountains lol. Anyway I loved this place. It also has a sauna you can use I put a picture of it here.

There wasn't anything to not like great communication with the owner. There's no breakfast here but plenty of places nearby. Very good coffee though.

I liked just about everything from the location to the room amenities. It's located in a perfect area for traveling to different tour spots. Don't let the outside fool you the rooms are really nice and comfortable beds too. The views from here are beautiful.

There's no breakfast but plenty of coffee that's about the only thing I didn't like but you can have food delivered. If not there's plenty of places nearby within 10 minutes.

Kind and courteous front-desk staff. Quiet location. Superb view from the rear, including a comfortable viewing yard area that includes seating, a gas firepit, and a sauna with a view.

Check-in process was not seamless (a text message with room code was not successfully texted to my phone), however on-site staff happened to be available upon arrival and handled check-in professionally and courteously.

Staff was very friendly and let us in earlier than check in time. The view and back patio was amazing, amazing territory. Location is convenient to explore all nearby mountains and hiking trails. Room was clean, I liked the cedar walls, like a village style a bit. We had coffee machine and a few packs of tea, which was nice.

It can be noisy if someone is arriving, you can hear the car and conversations. I guess when it’s crowded it can be uncomfortable.

Fresh rooms remodeled - was upgraded to two queens Location Town of Saluda is great with people and places to eat.

Would be great to have laundromat A small closet- coat rack somewhere to put suitcase. Snack or soda machine

Clean and comfortable; beautiful green surroundings in a convenient off-highway location. Reminiscent of old school motels with quiet and simple amenities. Cotton sheets-deluxe! I like when the sink is separated from the shower and toilet so two people can access at the same time.

Dog friendly is okay but I don’t have a dog so seeing them in the fenced area off leash made that area sort of off limits for me.

The Early Blue Motel was SO cute - a throwback to the old roadside motels that offered fun and convenient stays during road trips. The facility has been nicely renovated (still in process) and the view is AMAZING! So lovely that the proprietors have made an outdoor "lounge" for enjoying the view - with tables, comfortable seating, a fire pit, and attractive lighting. Pet-friendly and really fun! Would definitely recommend.

Great location with very nice views. We really love cute older motels. The sitting areas around the property are great. The rooms and grounds are very clean and kept well.

The bath room is very small. Also would love a table in the room

The view was absolutely spectacular. The room itself is quite cozy and can easily change temperatures in a flash. The motel is also family owned! They called me to let me know how to check in the day of!

The only dislike I had about this place would be the overall location. The view is to die for in the morning but when it comes to the nearest grocery store, it’s about a twenty minute drive. Also the walls are a bit thin if you have your occasional noisy neighbor.

Being able to bring our pet was amazing! The area out back overlooking the gorge is so nice. The view is beautiful and we had a great time chatting with the other guests. The fire pit is great for ambiance but doesn't really provide a lot of warmth. However, the owner came out back and brought blankets for anyone who was chilly. It was a very nice and much appreciated gesture. We definitely plan to stay again someday as we visit the area often!

I wish the fire pit was a little larger and / or put off more heat.
