I always choose a Comfort Inn whenever I travel. The staff is always polite and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean. This. Is the second time I've stayed at this location. They have a nice patio that you can go out and have your breakfast. As far as location.... the beach is only a few minutes away, downtown Southport has little shops and restaurants to visit. I'll be visiting again!

My room was comfortable and clean as always. The only thing I noticed was the air conditioner could have been cleaner. It looked like there could have been mold on it which set in to the bottom of the curtain.

The staff was excellent. Forest went way above to find out where my reservation was . If I hadn't had a special request, I might not have had a room. My reservation had not come in after paying for it on booking.com...I had confirmation of the reservation. But they didn't. Excellent work to resolve this before I arrived and to call and follow up with everyone involved, including me. Great consumer service alway here. I stay here a lot. I travel with my job in the medical field. I have never been disappointed, thanks to everyone and their excellent employees

In general, it was a great stay. Rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice shower. Scott, the evening shift front desk guy, and the day gentlemen ( older man) I forgot his name, at the front desk were fabulous & very helpful. Katie Lewis was very sweet. Kudos to them all 🥰

There were silver fish babies I kept killing in the bathroom. I relayed that to a young guy at the front desk. Plus, it is a bummer about the whole construction Southport is doing. It's not your fault, just an inconvenience.

Staff was extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast spread had a decent variety. Very welcoming to our dog that accompanied us, cute little area in the back for dogs, although I would have liked to see the dog area fenced in entirely, but overall pleased with our stay and would stay again. Bonus: the free popcorn and cookies was awesome! Especially being stuck in the room due to the hurricane. Hunter was so sweet and helpful!!!

Well, Hurricane Debby blowing through was a real damper!! Side Note: the room we stayed in: in the bathroom, the sliding glass shower doors would not stay closed during showering and we had to wedge a facecloth to get it to stay shut, also, the bathroom door itself needs replacing, nothing major!

Stayed there before the storm. The front desk lady I'm not sure the name a short older white lady was pretty rude. Never smiled once, kept telling me if I break it I buy it. We literally arrived at midnight slept till 7 am and left . I accidentally left items in the room and when I called they said it wasn't there, the room hadn't been cleaned yet but it was not there. The room was very nice sized, bed was comfy, breakfast was well a hotel breakfast no frills The lady at front desk needs manners. Although the gentleman that works there Hunter I think he is wonderful 👍

Location; being located close to both downtown Southport and oak island was great for our activities at both places. Convenience of being around stores but also not crowded. The size of the room as well as rooms being almost sound proof, hotel was fully booked but we never heard anyone in rooms next to us or halls, that’s a huge plus not hearing every sound your neighbors make. The kids loved the free popcorn in the lobby! Very family friendly, staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also very good.one of the best hotel breakfast we’ve had.

The front dest staff was more exceptional. They were welcoming, went out of their way to answer any questions we had, and worked hard to make sure our every need was met. The cleaning staff was easily accessible and provided us with the towels, and etc. as we needed. The pool and surrounding area was spotless and well maintained. The treat to daily fresh cookies was one we really enjoyed. Breakfast was enjoyable every morning.

The building, while well maintained, could use some bathroom refreshing.

Overall a nice place to stay for a short family beach trip. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean and had plenty of space, pool was great for the family, staff was friendly and helpful, location was great just a short drive to the beach

Ice machine didn't work, toilet in one room was low flow, sinks in both rooms had high spray when turned on, bed in ADA king room was pretty hard

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and helpful. The king-size suite was beyond my expectations. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was okay. I am used to sleeping in my sleep number bed. Breakfast was good the first day. The second day we went too late and there was nothing we wanted. We enjoyed our stay here and hope all the Comfort Suites are like this one in Southport.

Could have used a couple more hand towels and one more bath towel. Also a safe in the room would have been nice.

The hotel and staff were great.

The breakfast was good, but they should prepare a little better for the initial rush. We got there at the scheduled opening time. There were already 10 to 15 people eating, and there was NO hot food (sausage, eggs, hash browns, etc..) in the warmers. The road construction in the area also made getting around a little harder.
