Very clean and comfortable. The housekeepers really do a thorough job. I like how they put larger trash cans & a broom to use inside the rooms. The linens & towels smell nicely laundered & they have cute coastal decor in the rooms. They text you with a room code before you get there so it's contactless. The communication was very good. Easy walk to the beach!

The pool was closed when we went but they communicated that ahead of time to us. It looked ready to go & nice to use on their end but they said they were at the mercy of an inspection sign off before use. Seemed like a temporary issue but if having an outdoor pool is important to you maybe call ahead to ask.

I liked how easy the check in process was. The location was great since it's very close to the beach and restaurants we like. Liked that it's dog friendly for a very reasonable pet fee.

I wish there's a hair dryer in the room. The first time we stayed last year I was surprised there wasn't one and had to go to bed with wet hair, but this time I just brought my own.

Close to beach

Remodeled rooms were fresh and clean. Like new appearance. Beds were comfy. Rooms look exactly like pictures. Pool was clean and water was clear. Plenty of seating at pool. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Pillows were flat. We always bring our own since this seems to be the case at most accommodations. Parking lot was tight but manageable. This is not something that can’t be changed. This is parking by pool for larger vehicles.

This place is beautiful! We've been coming to Oak Island for years but have never stayed here until this year. I'm so glad we did, the staff was so nice and helpful and welcoming. The room was newly renovated and spacious. The beds we comfortable and its super close to the beach and walking distance to Dairy Queen, which my teen boys loved, and close to restaurants and shops.

The only thing I didn't like was the parking but that is so minor and its nothing that the Inn could've changed. There were multiple trucks parked where the compact cars should park and they would leave their tailgates down making it impossible to make it through the parking lot. But again thats more of the other customers not the property.

the room was cute and comfy. The water heat was excellent. it stayed hot through my entire shower and water pressure was great and consistent!

not much really. the only thing I would suggest is trying to get rid of the yellow stains on the toilet lid.that was the first thing I went to use and the first impression before I saw the rest.add creamer and sugar to the coffee you leave in the room. I wanted to drink coffee but there was no creamer or sugar.

I was very impressed with the room. Very easy instructions on check in and out. I would only stay there when I return to Oak Island. I high recommend the motel.

If I had to say one bad thing it would be, they had no cream or sugar in the room for the coffee maker

A nice little motel on the main street next to all the shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The room was spacious and clean. We got instructions in advance and had an easy, early check in. There is a vending machine and a laundry room, that's handy!

Very nice, quiet location. Easy access to the beach. You could Drive Down to the Beach, drop stuff off, return your car and easily walk to the Beach. You could walk to restaurants, groceries, and shopping.

Need shades along with the curtains on windows. Outside lighting easily seeable when trying to sleep.

Great customer service from the employees after a technical issue

The only way to get natural light is to open the blinds that face the parking lot and active road which meant we had the blinds closed the entire time
