The room was very comfortable; the staff were personable; the breakfast was EXCELLENT - we stayed for 6 nights and each day the buffet had a good variety. Lobby was clean and inviting; elevator worked; halls were clean and uncluttered.

Road construction leading to Southport, NC - not the hotel's fault - no-to-little lighting on the roads leading to the hotel (Route 211). For some reason, people drive with their high beams and impunity - good luck getting to the town in the dark. Again, not the hotel's fault; it's the town/county - poor planning, no highway lighting.

Coming directly from Oak Island beach, I was so pleased to be handed a bag containing 2 bottles of water for myself and daughter. There were also complimentary cookies on the counter- what a nice welcome! The room was very nice and clean and although the pool was closed, the ammenities looked nice. As soon as we showered and changed, we headed down to the coffee/tea bar and were both very happy with the selection. I had dark roast with hazelnut creamer and my daughter combined two flavors of tea (as they had so many delicious options) We were also very impressed with the variety of breakfast options, as so many times it's all sugar and carbs. I had the cheese omelet with a side of toast and bacon. My daughter enjoyed her hard boiled egg and the cinnamon waffles. There was even whipped cream (which is our go to on waffles)

Was hoping the pool would be open but it was completely closed off and locked so we couldn't even lay out or enjoy the ambiance of it in the evening. On a side note, NOT the hotels fault at all but there was controlled burning nearby and we both were wheezing as you could smell it in the room. Just FYI for anyone with asthma or sensitivity.

We loved our stay here! There is really nothing I would change other than the lighting in the room. I have poor vision in dim lighting and I like brighter lighting for that reason. The beds were very comfortable, the room (we stayed in a suite on the 4th floor) was very quiet and we had a very enjoyable stay with no issues. I wouks definitely stay here again!

Just the lighting, which I mentioned above. I really don’t know of anything else I would change unless it was for the fridge to have a freezer compartment. The ice machine was not working on our floor, but we went to another floor to get ice while we were there so we really weren’t inconvenienced since the ice machines were located just off of the elevators on each floor.

Facility is pretty new. Breakfast was very good, when we asked they fixed chicken sausage special for us since we had one person with alfa gal that could not eat red meat or pork. Room was spacious and accommodated our family well. Pool was nice also. All facilities appeared to be well taken care of, and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The only real issue we had was a clogged toilet, which was fixed the next day.

When we checked in the staff was very professional and welcoming, We checked out the next morning and headed to our next stop and quickly found out every road was closed because of a tropical storm that had hit and major flooding was happening in the area. We went back to the Hampton and they gave us another room and we settled in for the adventure. The saying is "any port in a storm" well our port was called Hampton and it was the beast place to be in this storm.

I can not say anything wasn't liked.

The whole facility was nice and comfortable and affordable. The room was very clean, very well maintained. The staff was nice and friendly. It was very relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.

There were some dogs that would not stop barking most of the time, but once we were in our room, the noise was gone.

The property was very clean and the rooms were comfortable.

The only thing we did not appreciate is that breakfast ended at 9 AM on Monday this was a holiday weekend and no one wants to wake up early on a holiday. Please consider extending your breakfast hours till 10 AM as most hotels do this already.

Beautiful clean facility with an actual good complimentary breakfast, good coffee and we love the different flavors of waffle battery every morning!

We had an issue with our fridge, it apparently quit working overnight on our last night and we had to toss out around $70 of food 😢😭

Extremely clean and well kept. Love the beach decor. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. Check in and out was fast. Rooms were well stocked with towels and essentials. I love the bath products and lotion. The location of the hotel was in between Oak Island and Southport Beach.

The mattress was a little hard for me but hubby liked it just fine. The entrance to the hotel needs a traffic light. Extremely difficult to get in and out of, to the main road.

Great location, very clean,rooms were very spacious, beds were comfortable, and staff was great. The checkout clerk, I believe his name was Chris, was so nice. He even helped us find my husband's watch that he left behind. Great Stay will definitely be back.
