The facilities as a whole were very pretty, well decorated and clean. I actually had asked the person at the desk if the place was new and was surprised to find out it had been open for 9 years. The people that we interacted with were excellent too, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. They even accommodated our early check-in without hesitation. The location was also very convenient to shopping, the highway, and the town of Cambridge, which was why we were there, to see the holiday parade and the Dickens village.

The only reason I gave a little lower on cleanliness was the pool. It was very cold, but I don't fault them for that as I was informed that they had just replaced the heater a day or so prior to our stay and it was still catching up. That being said, the bottom of the pool seemed a little scummy, so I just feel like it could have been cleaned a bit better. The water itself seemed clean though and it wasn't over-treated with chemicals like some hotel pools I've been in. As for breakfast, it wasn't bad, and I appreciate that they had a vegetarian sausage option, but I think adding some regular sausage or bacon would be good for those with picky kids.

The location was great. Tucked in. Could not hear traffic. View in back was gorgeous rock wall! Breakfast was very good. Lots of options. Staff was fantastic. Very clean hotel! Reviews were great for this location and they were not kidding. We will use this location next time we need a place in this area! Fire pit in the back with view of rock wall. So beautiful we took pictures. 2 tvs in the room and couch! Felt spoiled. Price was great! Other places were higher but had unfavorable reviews. This place was cheaper but exceeded expectations.

That we werent staying longer than a night!

Our shower had not been cleaned, it literally had mud in it when the shower curtain was moved before a shower. Ugh! The portable crib was not in the room as it was supposed to be. The wall mounted toiletries had one empty and it stayed empty. Our room was not cleaned, trash was not emptied, and towels not replaced between nights (we had to get towels ourself upon arrival and again the next day after realizing our room was not touched).

We spent this weekend up here for Deerassic and we loved it! We usually stay at the Salt Fork Lodge but recently moved to this location due to the lodge being incredibly dirty snd two years in a row had police called. Staff had friendly guests and staff. Extremely clean and well maintained. They didn’t mind us being up until 4am sitting around the fire pit having a good time as long as we weren’t disrupting other guests. Our group members enjoyed their complimentary breakfast.

This hotel is relatively new. I think part of it is new construction and part of it is a renovated building, but it is very clean and well maintained. I stayed here once before in the newer part of the hotel and I could tell that I was in the older structure when stayed the second time. The bathroom this time had a tub vs a walk in shower the first time. The breakfast is great. The breakfast room is clean and there are several choices in the breakfast buffet.

I was so pleased that you had veggie sausage patties on your breakfast buffet, as I am pescatarian, eating fish, but no meat. Having both egg and cheese omelets and frittatas was a nice choice, also. Fresh fruit, and all the other items were outstanding. My husband was happy, because he was able to have his bacon, biscuits and gravy!

Had made an online request for a certain room location, and then received a confirmation email that they could accommodate my request. But when I arrived to check in they couldn’t accommodate my request.

This is a new hotel. Everything is clean and fresh. The decor is beautiful. I love that they put just a shower in the bathroom instead of a nasty tub. The shower gel and shampoo were really nice. They have a fireplace outside that they had burning during the breakfast service. You could sit out there with your coffee and breakfast. The hotel is visible from the highway exit, but we could not hear any road noise in our room. The rooms are energy efficient in that the AC lowers itself when you leave the room and when you scan back in with the key card, it comes back up.

My only tip is to put recycling bins in the breakfast room to collect the plastic waste.

The facility is perfectly located. What I love is the bedding! The fire pit and back drop of the hill out back. Gym. Breakfast with lots of options. Night shift employee Chase is friendly and courteous.

Sanitary wipes or spray needed in gym. Air in room was stuffy and smelled a little like stinky feet until the air was turned on and began to flow. Morning staff.. if I’m coming to the desk to turn in my key .. be friendly, ask about my stay, let me know you would like me to come back. A few kind words go a long way!

Staff was friendly, the morning breakfast employee was working hard, he stayed busy and kept the place cleaned. The overnight employee was friendly and also helpful. I would like to stay here in summer time just for the patio out back. It had a fire place and a BBQ grill plenty of room.

I think the 1 thing I may had a problem with would be the trash could had been kept up with a bit better.
