We've been staying at the "post office hotel" for years. Great location in proximity to OU. Staff is always nice. Rooms are small but if you realize they were made for singles you understand. Breakfast is always good and has lots of options.

I wish breakfast was warmer/hot. The options are great but most of the hot food was barely warm last week. My husband commented to get a custom omelet which will be made in front of you so it will be hot. One other minor thing is it would be nice to have the bar open late after night football games. In the past, I remember this happening and it being packed. It's nice to come back to hotel and get out of campus corner (with all the college kids) and get a drink.

We really liked the breakfast buffet, which was exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced in the U.S. It offered a wide variety of fresh fruits, made-to-order omelets, breakfast burritos, pancakes, cereals, muffins, bagels, and calorie-labeled options. I also appreciated the hotel’s green practices and high-quality amenities, including excellent toiletries and a professional-grade hair dryer. The rooms and hotel grounds were spotless and comfortable, which made the stay very pleasant. Finally, the staff was outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of, even when we arrived late for breakfast.

Not something I disliked, but a few additions could make the experience even better. Coming from Europe, I missed some Mediterranean-style breakfast options such as cheese varieties, charcuterie meats, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and artisan breads. Including these would make the buffet more balanced and nutritious. Also, the 9:00 am breakfast closing time felt a bit early—especially for guests arriving late or wanting a more relaxed morning. Extending the breakfast hours would make it even more enjoyable.

The NCED was like a casino hotel without the gambling. Extremely friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast buffet (including large omelettes with REAL eggs!), large lobby bar, huge exercise gym, running track, and a large outdoor pool. What a gem for a weekend stay in Norman!

The facility is a 11-13 minute drive from OU campus with no restaurants or stores within walking distance. However, the conference center has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

This hotel is typically our hotel of choice when in Norman. Yes, there are nicer, more plush hotels in the area, but they are also much more expensive on football weekends. From what I understand, the hotel is owned by the US postal system and was initially built for training. The rooms were built to house 1 postal employee. I mention this because the rooms are smaller than your typical hotel room. That doesn't bother us though. The location of hotel is great in proximity of the OU campus. Not walkable, but close enough. My husband takes advantage of the workout facilities - full size basketball court, Olympic size pool, etc... Lastly, the complimentary breakfast is pretty nice. It is served buffet style and has just about anything you can think of food wise, including a custom omelet station. The hotel staff is always accommodating and very nice.

The rooms are outdated and there is no effort to provide guests a comfortable respite during their stay. The bed spread is just as thin as the sheet. Other properties provide a duvet. The pillows are so flat and lifeless, after folding it I still was only laying at a 10 degree angle. There aren’t enough outlets for you to charge devices, especially if there is more than 1 person. The rooms are just tight for 2 people to navigate comfortably.

I loved the value. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff was friendly. The location on the south side of Norman was perfect for us.

Guest need to know that the facility is geared to accommodate postal worker training. The rooms are small and some need updating. There are a lot of amenities, more than at a regular hotel, leaving one feeling like the hotel is a docked budget cruise ship. That’s not bad, just different.

The hotel is in an excellent location when visiting the OU campus. We appreciate the complimentary breakfast - lots of options including custom omelets. They do not have decaf coffee out, but my husband just asks, and they bring him a whole pot.

My only suggestion would be to have the restaurant/bar open late after evening football games. Also, I noticed that on some football game weekends, there is now a two-night stay minimum. For us who don't need that second night, we will have to look elsewhere now (at least on those weekends).

I really love this hotel. It has changed so much since COVID. We would stay here during OU football season. The location is amazing, the facility especially the lobby. Staff is very welcoming.

The hotel is not back to their standards from COVID. Before COVID, football fans were welcomed with so much. Now not so much. Restaurants are barely open. Bar has limited food menu. Do not have the buses to take us to the games anymore. Hopefully this property will get back to before COVID standards. This hotel being so close to the OU Football field is such a plus. One more thing and probably all the hotels in Norman do this but during football season since COVID they double the cost of their rooms. Wish they would not do that.

This property is an athletic paradise. The amenities alone are phenomenal, seriously!

The rooms are dated but they’re not terrible. If you’re looking for a high end type suite this may not be the facility for you. The room is clean , gets really cold and perfect for housing my belongings while I enjoy the amenities on site. I think if your plan is peruse the facility and visit OKC then getting this room is your best bet. It’s large, affordable & the breakfast is amazing !

Breakfast was fantastic with great selections that included hot food (e.g. omelettes, pancakes, bacon, and sausage) fresh fruit, muffins, and hot and cold cereals! The pool is huge with lap lanes and a big open swimming area, and the fitness room was clean, roomy, and well maintained. Overall the conference center was clean and nicely kept. The outdoor walking track was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, the conference center was A+ terrific!

The "Premium King" room was cramped - too small for two people but would be suitable for a single guest. Almost no room for suitcases, hanging up clothes, hanging damp towels, etc. Tubes of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that were supplied in the room were tiny and inadequate for two people for even 2 nights. No maid service for replenishing toiletries or replacing wet towels. No microwave. The room did not feel "premium." Also, the building was under construction from storm damage with areas roped off and equipment everywhere outside - and apparently it has been like this for over 6 months! C'mon, let's get those broken windows replaced, guys!
