Although our room was right under the stairs on the ground floor, it was quiet. The balcony was nice (wish they had some kind of netting or something to prevent anything from falling into the water. The view of the marina was great. And the hot breakfast offered was quite good.

The bed was confusing. We thought there was only sheets on it. We got a blanket, and staff came in with another comforter to put on top. Evidently, they sandwich the comforter between sheets to protect it, but the bed looked unmade to us. The extra blanket and comforter was much appreciated. The bed was bit hard for me, but everyone is different in that area.

Room 253 has a private wraparound deck that overlooks the marina. We were able to sit outside and watch boats come in and out. Beautiful view. King bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast had a variety of options, including biscuits and gravy.

The carpets were badly stained and paint was chipping. The room needed an overall upgrade but it was still nice. The hotel is one of the first businesses once you enter Astoria so walking downtown to shops and restaurants was not an option but there are local cabs to call if you do not have a vehicle.

It was a comfortable stay and the breakfast was great. The view of the marina from our corner room was good. There seems to be a little too much big furniture in the king room though but glad there's a fridge and microwave. The rooms could use an upgrade to include smaller lamps with USB capability. The property could use some (a lot) of tlc and repair. On looking at the hotel, the right side looks like the roof is about to cave in and the outside wall looks partly in disrepair. The gutters need some serious attention and cleared out, there's literally plants growing out of them causing the rain to flood them and drop straight down onto the concrete and it's very noisy like a faucet when it's raining. Cut a hole in the end on the corner and install some pvc, that would help. The decks need some power washing and paint and the corner decks that have no doors but have a railing could use some greenery or something to make it look nice or a mural or even an ocean or ship scene, not like a creepy corner deck that doesn't make sense. The hotel sign could use a serious power wash too, it's extremely dirty and looks quite dull in the dark. It was right on the trolley line and next to a coffee kiosk. It was quiet and the heater worked great. There's an ice machine on the first floor and there's no elevator but the stairs are wide and not too steep. We would stay again.

Great location and view! Check in was fast and easy. Room and linens were clean, and there was good water pressure in the shower. Bed was comfortable with full sized pillows, and we really liked having a couch and table with sitting chair. Kudos to this property for actually having really good tasting coffee in the rooms!

The bathrooms need some serious upgrading. Lighting in the bathroom was antiquated and poor, and flooring looked worn and old. Shower curtain liner didn't keep water from shower from pooling on the floor at the base of the tub. Husband went down to breakfast but decided to pass, said it didn't look very appetizing.

You CANNOT beat this location if you have an interest in boats and Marinas. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. There were no parting boat folk or teenagers living it up. It was just great. No Crowd in the winter. Breakfast was awesome. They had eggs which go missing in so many of these hotel "free" breakfasts. I was very surprised. My front desk clerk was absolutely amazing. He was pleasant. amusing. courteous and very helpful at all times

Of course, the one thing they could not fix for me was the "motel" architecture. This can't be helped, but a hotel type building would have made this an absolutely perfect location.

Convenient location, when the weather was nice (which it was), walking along the river was very pleasant. The breakfast service was a nice touch, it makes it easier for us to start our day when we can just eat at the inn without worrying about having to finding a restaurant for breakfast. It is extremely convenient for families for sure, they have good varieties of food to choose from as well.

The whole floor was shaking when the laundry machines were going, which really freaked us out at first. The facilities are not the most updated, you can tell some updates are much needed. The bar that holds the bath towels completely came off the wall.

Our room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and we loved the balcony overlooking the marina. Bed had a newer memory foam top, which was nice and firm -- super comfortable. Coffee/tea available in the lobby 24/7. Tons of parking and free breakfast (also with a great marina view!). Our room had a spare blanket and a floor fan which we used for white noise; much appreciated. I slept great and would stay here again.

Silly thing to complain about: The water pressure in the shower was insane. I usually love a good strong shower, but this was almost painful! I really wanted to be able to adjust the shower head so it wasn't shooting ninja needles at me and had a hard time keeping it from spraying all over the bathroom floor.

Nice location by the harbor, it was beautiful just looking out the window. I appreciate the riverwalk path that actually allowed us to take walks over the sea. The room was equipped with everything I expected it to have and the location is not far away from the town center. Breakfast was just ok.

Soundproofing isn't the best. This doesn't bother me in particular, but you should be aware that the place has a motel-like exposed structure and all the room doors are theoretically accessible by anyone.

Loved the location overlooking the harbor, the bridge, and the river. Second floor involved a set of exterior stairs, but it was Worth it to have that bit of elevation on such an interesting view of the harbor, and the big container ships clearing that dramatic bridge. Apparently, every room in the Inn has the view! The room was clean. The beds were wonderful. Staff was helpful, and the morning breakfast had a very reasonable selection of coffee, proteins, carbs, and that view.

The Inn's age shows a bit, but they have worked to keep it appealing. Truly, the star is the river.

The room was large & spacious. Cable was somewhat limited, but there were options. Beds were comfy, but the pillows were not as much. The balcony & view were amazing. The staff was super friendly & accommodating It was pretty close to a lot of things in that part of town. Plenty of restaurants & bars right there, as well as the Riverfront trolley.

My main issues were the lack of a bathtub. If it said it in the listing, I missed it. Would have been nice to have one, for sure, but it was a nice shower & and bathroom overall. The balcony door didn't lock & while I wasn't worried anything would happen, I think it should have latched just in case. The balcony also had some aggressive pigeons that hang out nearby & harrang the guests for food if you step out there. Having the pigeons waiting for the chance to bum food was a little annoying, but also, it's what they do. 🤷
