While this property is on the "older" side, it has been updated with decent accomodations for the price. My room was small be comfortable for myself and perhaps one other person. Everything worked OK but some things were not closely attended to such as an empty tissue box and a leaking hand soap dispenser. But these were not big items. Parking was convenient and the wifi worked fine.

The biggest issue here is the traffic noise. The main road in Astoria is right next to the property and traffic can be quite noisy at times. But, given the price, once again, this is an acceptable tradeoff in my mind.

Nice little motel, very close to downtown Astoria. We were on the first floor, so the view was more of the busy road that the motel is on. Try for a second level room if possible, for a better view of the water. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The TV was glitchy, in that we couldn't easily figure out how to get the no signal screen to go away. We had to call front desk, and a very nice lady came and sorted it out, and showed us how to work it. The road outside your door is very busy and noisy, but honestly once we closed the window and door, it was barely noticeable. There is a microwave, refrigerator, small coffee maker, and blow dryer in the room. Also A/C - Heater unit. The lady that checked us in was very nice, and welcoming. We had dinner at The Silver Salmon Grille, highly recommend. Especially the Blackened Steak Tips. In the morning we had coffee and bagels at The Rusty Cup, also very good. All in all, it's a nice, clean place to stay at a good price.

The Astoria Rivershore Motel was comfortable, clean, roomy, and in a convenient location. Elyssa and Heidi at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and professional. They were welcoming, engaging, had nice recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. They kept our room perfectly clean. When we had a request, they went "the extra mile" to fill our needs. We would recommend the Astoria Rivershore Motel to everyone seeking a great staff. excellent location, clean rooms, and excellent value.

nothing. Everything went well.

Location was nice, room was as expected, clean, well maintained, nothing fancy but we were not in the room much anyway. A reminder, Oregon is very humid compared to Idaho so everything felt damp, however it was not a problem. Bed was firm, clean, lots of pillows. Maid service was efficient and ever ready to clean or help when needed. Front office staff were very nice, but they need to have more Astoria maps and they acknowledged it, however the visitors center one block away had plenty and was outstanding in guiding us around the area.

The first night we were there we thought the highway noise was going to be a problem, however as busy as it is, it really didn't bother us.

The staff was great. Helpful and friendly. Parking was great. The room was perfect for gathering with the kids who live there. My man said "Wow!" when we opened the door and told me several times I did great finding that room. Rates were extremely reasonable - no surprise charges. The bed was *so* comfortable. TV's worked great (I got to watch allll the football) :) Thank you so much!

The living room furniture wasn't very comfortable.

The rooms were very nicely furnished. We had the kitchen suite and having a for on the second bedroom was very nice. The kitchen has wonderful appliances. Having one larger pot to cook in would have been helpful. Beds were very comfortable. The location is on the main road through Astoria. Convenient location but not very scenic. We were here for Memorial Day weekend so the price was abnormally high. Another time of year I’m sure it would be a more affordable price. Would happily stay here again.

The two room suite was the ideal arrangement while traveling with my elderly mother. We loved the fact that the two beds were in different rooms since Mom likes to sleep in a warm room while I prefer a cool one. She slept in the front room with the heater running while I slept in the back room with the window open about three inches. As far as location, it’s my new favorite place to stay in Astoria. The view from our front window had a decent look at ships going by on the Columbia River and if you step out the front door and look to the left there is a magnificent view of the Astoria-Meggler Bridge. Yes, I will definitely stay here again on my annual Pacific Coast road trip.

The ice machine didn’t work.

This was a very last minute and unexpected booking. The staff was nice and understanding about the situation. The room was in tip top shape and the bed was very comfortable. It was overall much higher quality than I expected for the price and they let me check in later than a lot of other places would have these days. The location is also right near the center of the city's main street and within walking distance of bars and a conscience store.

The fridge wasn't already on and I didn't realize so I had to turn it on myself after wondering why my stuff wasn't cold. This isn't a huge deal and if I was more observant I would have noticed so I'm not upset about it.

Staff was nice. Bathroom was modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked. Parking was ok.

Room was very small. Microwave was small. Almost no nightstand or countertop space. No table or chairs, which you would expect at a hotel. TV did not have good volume. Room looked out on a chain link fence, which is better than some of the rooms, which look out onto the parking lot. Stinky fish smell coming from across the street. No ice machine. No housekeeping.

Kitchen suite was great. TVs in both rooms was very appreciated.

Carpet was very dirty throughout. We don't like wearing shoes or socks indoors, but we had to because clearly previous guests had, and carpeting is difficult to clean. Bathroom could have been more spacious given the square footage of the whole space. I think the suite's ambiance was pulled down by subpar lighting. Slightly warmer lighting can change the feel of the space completely.
